This is Why I Think MJ Died. He Had an Eating Disorder.
i have had some experience with eating disordered people, both myself and an ex-best friend. in my quest to help my friend (and take away the focus from me) i read a fair amount about this subject, and have spoken to health professionals about the stuff they do (and i did!), their habits and background.

since the autopsy reports have been out, and the shocking state of his body that has been leaked in the UK press, IMHO all of these points to a man that has died due to the long term effects of an eating disorder - possibly anorexia.

many ED people abuse drugs, thats how a lot of them keep away both the pain and the hunger.

many too die from heart attacks, the body once it has used its own reserves of fat then turns and destroys internal organs, notably the heart (as with Karen Carpenter).

his body was said to be emaciated with bruises and puncture wounds due to injecting opioid type drugs which will take away appetite. he was also said to have very little hair - another sign that he was ED. also his stomach had no food and contained only pills, another pointer.

people with ED surround themselves with enablers (his 'doctors') and will isolate themselves almost totally from family, friends and society in general, just so they can continue to abuse themselves unchecked and unnoticed.

they are by nature perfectionists with unrealistic body images. and constantly strive to achieve perfection with their looks.

look at his family issues, his father was controlling and overbearing and it seems his mother was distant too.

this is also why he would be unable to have any real sexual relationships with either women or even men (mostly gay men suffer from anorexia/ED but the numbers of straight men too is on the rise).

even his pale skin may have been partly due to an ED!

many have mentioned that the night before he had been rehearsing till very late for his shows, and argue that if he was that ill he wouldnt have been able to do that. well, yes he would actually, a binge and purge session produces a speed like high. and if he was addicted to 'downers' there is a fair chance that he used 'uppers' too.

for me it all fell into place once i realized this was who he was and what he had been doing.

anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Interesting.

I'm also sure his "self modifications" are indicative of some sort of disorder, which may be combined with an eating disorder.

He had needle tracks in his freaking NECK.

He died because he must have been surrounded by sick, greedy enablers.

Hey Winnie hi If eating disorders are a topic you are interested in, you might check out this book I just read, "Freedom's Rein" which is the autobiography of an American jockey, Shane Sellers.

He exposes a lot of behind the scenes stuff about the life of horse racing jockeys, and says how we are horrified to read of eating disorders like bingeing and purging, anorexia, etc., when it happens in other fields like your example of show business, or modeling, etc., but that for jockeys, it's not a tragedy, it's a job requirement.

Apparently the weight they are supposed to ride at is 112 lbs? He asks, how can any normal person keep their weight that low? He says there are very few rare jockeys who are naturally that small. The rest have to commit health destroying practices to be that thin - then they are supposed to ride in brutal and demanding races all day!

Not to distract from the sadness of Michael Jackson and his problems - but thought you might want to check that out if you have sort of studied the subject.

I've had problems in the past in that regard too. But quitting smoking pretty much solved that for me :-)

+1.

And besides, Michael has always been the tall skinny
one.

I think it's weird that people are saying he looked emaciated when he died. Well, the night before during his rehearsal, and video, he sure didnt look emaciated. He actually looked healthy to me.......

Well as healthy as could be for someone who did prescription drugs for years......

Bottom line, Michael Jackson was a prescription drug user.
He did it to himself. He happened to find plenty of doctors along the way who (and who wounldnt) wouldnt mind being on Michael Jacksons payroll.

If a celebrity with that much money and power asked you to do something for them, illegal or not, you'd do it in a heartbeat. Especailly with the amount of money he / she is paying you. Believe me, you would not say no.

The smart ones are the ones who walked away.

They would have spotted the signs if he was a puker...
And he was pretty well known for having a thing for candy and fried chicken.
