H1N1 in Argentina - PAY DAMN ATTENTION FOOLS!
|
Dread Pirate Roberts User ID: 712460 7/1/2009 3:57 PM | | Re: H1N1 in Argentina - PAY DAMN ATTENTION FOOLS! | Quote | Argentina has the world’s highest rate of deaths associated with swine flu infections
[link to momento24.com]
The National Government despite the alarming figures, refused to declare a national health emergency. So far 16 provinces including Buenos Aires took their own healthcare decisions individually, to extend the winter break to about a month.
Schools which serve meals will have them available for pupils to pick them up and take them home every day during the emergency. Parents are advised not to let their children go to crowded public places.
So far, 38 were killed by H1N1 virus, and world agencies believe the number of deaths is unusually large considering the total number of infections (1,587).
It is believed that the actual number of infections reaches 15,000 with 43 deaths.
The deceased by province are:
Province of Buenos Aires : 29
Buenos Aires City: 6
Santa Fe: 5
Corrientes: 2
Misiones: 1
… … … … … … ….
Total: 43
These figures suggest the official information does not entirely reflect the actual situation of the pandemic in the country.
All this leads to misinformation as well as fear in most of the population, while some are not aware of the real situation and consider it common seasonal flu.
Unfortunately, some authorities reacted a little late regarding preventive measures, declaring that the strain of H1N1 virus circulating in our country was a “weakened” version of the illness, while figures seem to indicate it is a very aggressive and dangerous strain.
Health centers, collapsed, and when a patient arrived with flu symptoms, was sent him home and told to return only if 48 hours later the symptoms persisted. Despite the cold, parents had to take their children with a fever of 38 °C or more out in the cold and wait in a crowded hospital lobby for long hours among hundreds of patients affected by all kind of diseases. This when the WHO said treatment with antiviral drugs such as, Tamiflu is most effective within the first 48 hours of infection.
Meanwhile, Chief of Cabinet Sergio Massa, said that from now on health authorities will change their current procedures and provide treatment right away to every patient suspected of being infected.
According to Massa, the government has a stock of two million treatments of Tamiflu, so he would be prepared for a resurgence of the epidemic, which according to many experts, could take place in the next two weeks.
Schools are closed but Dr. Carlos Bergallo, Chief of the Infectious Diseases of “Cordoba” Hospital and “Allende” Sanatorium said: “They did not close the malls or movie theaters or places of that kind, so if the kids get together in leisure centers rather than in a classroom, this measures are useless. ”
The infectologist was concerned over the increase in cases of pneumonia treated at his hospital, and warned of the possibility that the H1N1 virus mixed with that of seasonal influenza.
“The virus may have mutated, and we do not know it. Small genetic changes can make it more aggressive.”
According to the doctor, the seriousness of swine flu, is that, unlike the seasonal version which mainly affecting young children and the elderly, this new disease attacks with particular virulence young adults, and develops unusually quickly.

The fact is the virus is mutating, which means come winter in the US it will be a killer |

Not only does the infection spread with teh speed of light, also more and more people are infected allthough not having been in Mexico or having any relation to the original source of infection. Also more and more people die. But worse is that the virus allready mutates and gets resistent against Tamiflu and that it mutates in symptoms as stated in OPs message.
This clearly shows that this is a timebomb, that is deliberately manufactured by the elite in the US to kill off a huge part of the human population. It is teh biggest crime in human history after the other genocide committed by the US government, teh 9-11 attacks and the genocide of 1,5 million Iraqis in that illegal war.
what will you do now???

First and foremost, tuberculosis is a disease of the lungs. However, the infection can spread via blood from the lungs to all organs in the body. |

Its better than chlorine as it does not produce carcinagens. I have friends that have taken it every day for 6 months. No side effects, oh I was wrong, one side effect it got rid of his aids. lol. Go back to sleep and by the government propoganda. So sweet off my ass. |

Argentine health minister resigns in frustration
1 day ago
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — Argentina's health minister has resigned despite the growing swine flu epidemic, reportedly after failing to persuade the government to declare a health emergency.
That is because the government did not fall for the crap USA was feeding the minester.
He was employed by the CIA to bring fear to Argantina and force the government in to a panic. Just like Iran, it has not worked. It worked in Mexico but other latin American nation have woken up and do not buy this crap any more.
Have you noticed no more news about Mexico? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 276706
Sorry but I have to call BS on you. Argentina's former Health Minister was a woman, not a guy. And believe me, not employed by the CIA at all. How do I know? I live in Arg. and I work for the government and knew this lady very well, she was useless. |

One researcher suggested that many of the apparently healthy young adults who died in 1918 were in fact infected with tuberculosis, explaining the unusually high mortality rates among young adults. Tuberculosis death rates plummeted after 1918, which can be explained by the fact that many TB sufferers died of the flu and therefore were not around to die later, nor to pass the TB bacillus to others. Just after 1918, TB death rates experience their steepest decline of the century.
Renal failure and haematological problems also present in tuberculosis. |

The British figures are quite worrying too considering I'm flying there tonight for a couple of weeks. I'm visiting my home town and one school was recently closed, but open now, and another primary school has just confirmed 1 case and another suspected case - GREAT!! I really want to go there now - NOT. Can't get out of it though.

Look at how many cases increased, over 24 hours, in Britain = 601. Total confirmed cases 6538 and 3 confirmed deaths.
On 30th June the numbers went up in 24 hours by 1687 in Britain. The rate of spread is very alarming and if you look back at the previous dates you can easily see how it's picking up speed.
Although it doesn't seem to be too deadl yet, I really don't want to go....... |

well again: to say june 30st 36000 peopel are infected worldwide and then to claim july 1st 1 million AMericans alone are infected just shows how insane this virus spreads around. That is just unbelievable and unimagianble ...
unless the agents are released on a large scale by means that can reach huge groups of population...
oh yes: chemtrails!!!!

Don't stress about this. I'm currently working here in the middle of the UK's 'hotspot' for the bug and you see nothing of it, people going about their lives as normal - well, whatever passes for normal here, lol. The local health authorities are still in the 'containment phase' as it's not widespread in the ommunity at this time.
That's not to say that the overall prognosis looks great though; come September and the beginning of the flu' season all bets are off, I think. |

Thanks for the reply - although I'm cautious of visiting England, at this time, I really wouldn't put my kids at risk if I thought it was something to seriously worry about. We also have a lot of it here in Spain and everyone here is just going about their business too.
I don't think it matters where any of us are, at this point in time, because if we're going to get it then we'll get it - too late to stop it now.
BBC News have just said they're changing the status from 'containment phase' to 'treatment' - an announcement to be made in the commons later. Looks as if the government have also decided that it's too late to stop it (we already knew that but they can't help being a bit slow).
I just hope it doesn't turn more deadly in the autumn/winter.
The conspiracy part of my brain would also like to add that all the deaths so far do say the patient had underlying medical conditions. Is it possible that if this is a manufactured virus then it's specifically to target those that are already weak/sick and will only leave those of us that are fit and healthy. Maybe even if it isn't man made then nature has decided it's time for a clean up? |

Update from UK. Moved to treatment phase.
BREAKING NEWS1:12pm UK, Thursday July 02, 2009
The Health Secretary says the Government expects 100,000 new cases of swine flu to be diagnosed each day by the end of August.
Tamiflu currently is being used to treat the outbreak
Andy Burnham told MPs that the figure was "a projection" but added that scientists expected a "rapid rise" in cases over the summer.
"Cases are doubling every week and on this trend we could see over 100,000 cases per day by the end of August," he said.
Mr Burnham confirmed there were now 7,447 confirmed cases of swine flu in the UK and a significant number of people had been hospitalised.
In a statement to the House of Commons, Mr Burnham said the Government had signed contracts for enough flu vaccines to cover the entire population, with 60 million doses available by the end of the year.
Mr Burnham also said the UK would move to a "treatment phase" with immediate effect meaning GPs will diagnose cases, rather than waiting for laboratory tests.
Antivirals will be offered to all who have contracted the illness with higher risk patients given priority, he said.
However, he did warn that overusing the drugs could create a drug-resistant strain of the virus.
The virus has hit a number of high-profile events in recent days including the Glastonbury music festival and the Wimbledon tennis tournament from which 28 staff members have been sent home with suspected cases |
