Do you think your life has unfolded in a random manner?
I sometimes wonder whether my life has been simply a random series of stupid misadventures.

There was a time I believed in a benevolent fate. I now think that is bullshit.

But do I believe my life has unfolded in a random way? No, I don't.

I now believe I have been manipulated to screw up for the benefit of others. But I have no proof.

Do you think your life has unfolded randomly? Or is the reality of your life been different?

Mine seems pretty random.

Lots of influences come and gone, taking me in a whirlwind, touchdown, and then onto the next one.

There are people that impose an order on randomness so that what appears to be random isn't damned

Re: Do you think your life has unfolded in a random manner?
I think my life has been about seeing the conspiracy - to get me to a point where I understand something about it. If I hadn't seen that UFO, gotten a degree in physics, went to seminary, worked on antigravity research, listened to Alex Jones, got on this site, read certain books, been harrassed by the NWO, did certain internet research, etc. It takes a long, long, long, long time to know anything. A snippet here and a clue there and when you acumulate a vast amount then you start to see what has really happened although it becomes almost impossible to communicate it because it sounds so absurd.

Coincidences and synchronicities are Both, random( with no meaning) and causal.

OP--watch the movie "Knowing"

Most people are Programmed. Free-will extends to what color shirt to wear, and other simple things in life. Everything else is predetermined.

Watch out for the whole perspective thing throwing out your judgment.

From where you are now, you can look back on your life and see how so many things led you to where you are now. The more you look at it, the more you see how everything is interwoven and makes up the core of who you are at any given moment. You can see how everything fits into an absolutely perfect pattern to get you where you are right now.

But of course it would. It is the series of events that led you to where you are, so of course it's going to look like it.

Humans are manipulative creatures so you can be guaranteed there has been manipulation going on around you for a long time and on many levels. So your manipulation radar needs some calibration too.

One of the worst things to do though is to linger on it, be bitter about it, or let it control you if you are suffering manipulation. Do what it is you want to do and don't give the power over to your tormentors. Especially if you don't know who they are.
Has anyone else noticed this elephant in the lounge room ?

Another block of writing from Elephant full of supposition and condescension whilst saying pretty much nothing. - EggNigma 2/2/2011

Too damned smart as a kid, they saw that 150 IQ and did something about. Ten mercury fillings in one dentist visit and eight on the next fixed that problem.

Re: Do you think your life has unfolded in a random manner?
A human life begins at birth, ends at death, and is filled with any number of events between them.

To the cause/reason for these events scientists have discovered that the majority of them are pre-programmed into us by our DNA.

Social scientists say new research shows that the environment we are raised/lived in does not have as much influence on us as once thought.

Simese twins that have been raised apart since birth have shown remarkable similar lives, also, there are numerous reports of transplant recipients taking on the atributes of those whose organs they've recieved.

So, to answer your question, with our DNA being pre-programmed and with scientific evidence supporting DNA's increasingly significant role in who/what/why we are, then the simple answer is that our lives are not random.

But, that then leads to another more serious series of questions, chief among them, who/what/how was/is our DNA programmed?

Simple logic states for anything to be programmed there has to be a programmer. Is this programmer of our DNA God? Nature? Something else?

Does it even matter if the programme knows who its programme is?

Can a programme ever become more knowing/wise/intelligent than its programmer?

Based on all of this, even the questions not asked, every single human being is nothing more than a biological form used to execute a predetermined programme not of their own making and have NO CHOICE but to follow the directives of whatever the programme running in them has been designed to execute.

In your belief that you have "been manipulated to screw up for the benefit of others" you are correct.

But, you should also know that even though the programme running in you may seem to cause you harm, or sorrow, it has been designed to benefit the human race as a whole.

Though we may think/believe that we are all seperate, nothing could be further from the truth as every single human programme is working towards the survival of the whole species.

So, get over feeling bad, or sorry, about how your life is turning out as it doesn't change anything that has or is going to happen to you.

Live instead with the firm knowledge that there is nothing you can do to change anything that has been programmed into you and that whatever goes wrong in your life is the programmers fault, not your own.

Even if you're living the most messed up life in the world, be happy every day that your programme is still running and that even if you aren't aware of it YOU ARE doing something vitally important.

This should make you happy because with this knowledge comes your freedom from guilt and responsibility, none which anyone should have at all as its pointless and meaningless.

Go smell some flowers, look at the sky, skip work for a day, week, even forever! Who cares?

So stop worring and feeling sorry for yourself and go find someone to hug whose worse off than you.
