Wasn't there some guy a little while ago saying that something was going to put a hole in the sun and he had been refused a place in an underground bunker? I can't find the thread but I seem to remember there being a lot of discussion on it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 714912

You can't make this stuff up. I had a spot for me and my immediate family. But three days ago I was informed I will not be welcomed in the safety city underground.
I don't know the extent of the network created to secure VIP's, Food, ect but I do know enough to let you all know.
The bastards should have let me keep my place.
There is one thing though, the USA is going to attempt trial runs at 'thinning' the dwarf star Hellion.
The technology was originally developed from studying ants. Ants make a special sound that reduces the weight of the object they are carrying substantially. The general belief is this is how the ancient stone structures were built. Using trained singers to sound a specific frequency. When applied correctly, gravity looses it's hold on the object, thus making it much lighter. Another similar form of technology is used to make flying discs weightless. It also allows the occupants to not experience inertia when accelerating or braking at lethal levels.
If the US space team can neutralize the weight of the object enough, the solar winds should alter it's course slightly. Not enough to allow a miss, but enough to create a side swip rather then a head on collision. Just as the object is about to hit the Sun, the reduction of gravitic hold on the object will be in full swing. We hope this allows the dwarf Hellion to bounce off the sun. Thus saving our lousy asses.
To those who said they looked up the coordinates, remember this, dwarf stars have a cocoon of burnt debris making the reflective value near zero. Hellion will barely be seen just before impact.
The intense gravity is expected to effect Earth but no pole shift. Earth will remain in normal orbit for the most part. It is the heat effects from impact that has us all worried.
Keep your eyes on North Korea. When war breaks out, the time is very near.

Yes, all important leaders, scientists, doctors, farmers, martial artists, cooks, butchers, chemists, most of the labor force that helped (except for me...bastards), ect.
The Chinese will be the surface guardians of North Korea during the rough days. I'm not sure what the plan is to rise to the surface whn safe but, I had run many conduit lines to sensors, cameras, remote rifles, night vision cams, ect. The network that monitors the surface is vast.
There are very high speed rail lines to transport from one 'city' to another.
I do know a fake space threat will be introduced just prior to the impacting event.
Priority communications are fiber optic and they have 100% fiber optic pc systems. Quite impressive if you ask me. The cpu is really simple. Because the speed of light is so fast it is about 500,000 x's faster then the fastest commercially available PC. Strong magnetics are used to slow a certain portion of light down just enough to delay it's use. The slight delay makes RM (a mix of RAM and ROM) possible. All storage of data is kept loaded since system is so fast, it can do so w/o any problems. A back up solid state drive is used to back up info. The light is recycled to be used in the system again and when a pulse of light becomes weak enough, it is directed to be used to light up the monitor.
The technology is unbelievable.
Entire rooms are well lit with no light source in sight anywhere. Wireless electricity is also very common down there. Nearly all devices tap into a certain frequency to draw power from.
There are 3 state of the art hospitals. Not like the surface hospitals. These have tools that seem impossible.
And they mastered the minds processes. They know what you are thinking 24/7. This is how leaks are avoided. Now, this may seem silly but I wear a specially deigned hat sheild and is tuned into the grounding frequency. The grounding frequency has a negative property allowing it to absorb energy when the energy is at the specific frequency.
I need to relocate and sleep tonight. I thought it was hard to sleep while working on my various assignments but after being booted out, my stress levels are really high.
My wife doesn't even know about it. I wish she did but I feel it is better she is not distressed. I love her too much to see her hurting.

I will not be chased away. The only thing that can stop me posting are the web controllers. They monitor everything electronic in communication. EVERYTHING. Key words and phrases are used.

To answer anothers question, there will be a lottery system to choose random people. Yes, all taken in have valuable skills of all types, but normal people with no skills are also needed as to make a full replacement of the human race. For genetic variations that are not fully understood and therefor very important. If you are a drawn person, you will recieve a hand delivered letter and specific threats to keep your mouth shut. All immediate family of any lottery choosen one will be allowed to stay as spouse resident.

I'm not so sure. The Sun is 93,000,000 miles from earth, and it takes 9 minutes for the light to get here. I vaguely recall 186,000 Miles Per Second.

if the disgruntled employee happened to be real. would the fact that it happened during the night where i am equate to higher chances of survival? how long would it take for the solar fragments to reach the earth?
and can anyone determine when that object will reach the sun if its not mercury and continues on a steady or even increasing speed due to solar magnetic pull? just for sh*ts and giggles? |

no it appears to be heading for the sun.
if it hits the sun then it can cause a shift in the suns 11 year solar cycle as well as a shot out of solar fragments.
theres a chance on of those fragments hits earth dead on and causes severe damage
but even if that doesn't occur the levels of radiation from the sun would raise to deadly levels during the outburst cooking the earth's surface.
thats the implications
but some claim its mercury. |

So if the pics are from 'behind the earth' where's the earth in the pics? Is the object going to hit earth?
1). Why would the Earth be included if they're trying to moniter the sun?
2). No, it's not going to hit the Earth. The Sun? Maybe. It's hard to tell what the object is, or its distance.
1) 'behind earth' = dark side, night, no?
2) if only the 'behind earth' sat is picking up inbound... Then inbound is targeting not sun...
Like how Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, etc are "behind earth".
The orbit of the satellite is out further than earth and gradually moves further away. The front satellite has an orbit closer to the sun and gradually moves closer.
