Put this together quickly, just to be able to view it here easily. This is up to date as of a few minutes ago, anyway.
Not sure what it is, but it's interesting nonetheless.

NIBI is showing up again, all over Europe. I get clear shots at katkam and lick obs most of the time now.
Old Sol is much hotter now than it was a month or two ago, based on my re-colorations of the SOHO each day. I sort of let that go for a while when Old Sol got real dim; but I did a screen shot today, and it's blasting light.

So, the minimum minimum is over, probably because the Brown Dawrf is now PAST it and no longer affecting it.
I notice our magnetosphere is a little stronger too. This is for deflecting incoming; so that's good.
However, katkam.ca had a very unusual sunset (official one at 21:10); and then forty minutes later, they got this:

B is the one that shows the object. It is clearly pointing at Mercury. Mercury will not be in A's field of view until the 6th.
We are looking at mercury because one satellite B shows the object and A doesn't.
It is Mercury. |

This shows just how good NASA is.

Anonymous Coward User ID: 713628 7/2/2009 1:33 AM | | Re: Unknown object quickly approaching the Sun | Quote |
It's DEFINITELY Mercury. Stereo consists of TWO spacecraft, both of which orbit the sun in what is more or less the earth's orbit, but 1 called "A" or AHEAD is ahead of the earth, and one "B" or BEHIND is behind the Earth. You'll notice that the B spacecraft is the one the object appears in.
Well, a small amount of research will show you this picture, which shows exactly where A, B, Earth, Sun, and Mercury are right now:
[ link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov]
Yes, from teh point of view of B, mercury is travelling from right to left, and is currently on the right side of the sun..... so, yes,
ITS MERCURY!!!!!!!!!
To prove it another way, look at this orbit simulator:
[ link to ssd.jpl.nasa.gov]
ITS MERCURY! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 716159
Yes, I said as much on page 15.

Oh it can of course. If it hit the front of the sun it can change the magnetics and burst a CME toward any which direction. Only time will tell. To me it looks like Mercury but if it is mercury then where is Venus on "A" unless Venus is inclined which I think it may be from the orbit of Satellite A and B |

Listen-up folks, have seen material that author J.Farrel, Ph.D physics, explains that there really is an on going war, and that the major governments of this world know fully that there have been large projectiles being fired at our sun.... Notice the butter yellow tint is now "white"???
Some claim that it is full outside our gallaxy battle group chasing the (if you can believe this) large grays, Orions.
These outsiders claim they have ruined many of their planets, destroyed needless targets. Supposed reason they are all out to wipe out any and all places they have tracked them to. Heard rumor that this bunch are ones destroying planet earth to wipe all humans and animal kingdoms.
We apparently are going to lose one way or the other since lose of our sun will finish all the rest. Can only hope this is just science fiction, but these major scientist say this maybe the battle spoke of in Bible terms. Since there is total lack of emotions now here on earth...well God help us if that be the case. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 574254

the sun will flare before the object will hit Quoting: Anonymous Coward 577036
Yes.The Sun will flare at it as it approaches with little or no effect.I've been observing this object for several years now.It comes and goes periodically.12/31/07 was a fine example of this. But this object is not round,it is in the shape of a Deltoid(like an enlongated triangle or torpedo shape).Oddly, sometimes it seems to stop and at other times seem to change course suddenly. |
