Hi Nancy, is it Planet X- related?
Unknown object quickly approaching the Sun Planet sized unknown object is quickly approaching the Sun. The object in question can clearly be seen in the Stereo Behind COR 2 imagery . At this time the course of this object will pass dangerously close to or will actually hit the Sun around the equator. This is not a charted object and is not a planet .

What is this object and will it hit our Sun?

As can be seen from examining the March, 2009 pass of Mercury, this bright object is Mercury. It may not be in quite the right place, being influenced by the presence of Planet X which it skirts around, but that’s what the object is.

Thanks Earth, I believe that despite all initial indications on the contrary, including a mistake in one of the posts of the OP, this "object" definitely is not Mercury.
How long have it to be missing for us to have an objective conclusion that it either sped away from the Sun between two pictures (1 hour window) or it got caught and destroyed by the Sun?
How many more hours? |

Zetas right - It is Mercury.
Zetas wrong - It is not being influenced by Planet-X. |

Yes, some here me included believe that this is a possibility. See for example the from COR2 Jul/03

or this from today that, which is even clearer

If it is a binary system this could better explain why its shape changes so often. They could be rotating/orbitating around each other in high speed causing the impression of non regular form. |

Or, as NASA says, "... data derived from the STEREO space weather beacon telemetry, which is a very low rate, highly compressed data stream broadcast by the spacecraft 24 hours per day. These data are used for space weather forecasting. Because of the large compression factors used, these beacon images are of much lower quality than the actual science data."

I would never quote a zeta on any subject, unless they agreed with me first! Way back in this thread, I could not find the March 2009 STEREO Behind photos to see what Mercury look liked at that time. Someone finally found the archived shots. When I looked at them, I immediately saw the similarities between that Mercury and the object we're watching now. Yes, Mercury is acting oddly, but it is nonetheless...tada!...Mercury!
Even the zetas say so! So, there! |

Yes, that's why I put an "if" at the beginning of my phrase.
All evidence we have yet is circumstantial IMO, it can go both ways.
Nobody here has proved yet that it is Mercury. There is good evidence but no proof.
And nobody has proved otherwise either, and IMO there is good evidence for it not being Mercury too.
Because of that it's become a kind of charade, but I believe we're learning something here, Mercurians and non-Mercurians!:-) |

 | | Re: Unknown object quickly approaching the Sun | Quote | This is very interesting to me, and I've been mostly reading and clicking the links. Emp Kenton would have loved this.
I, and others here have been watching and documenting the objects in our night skies that are supposed to be planets and stars, but are not. Not saying the real things aren't up there, but some mighty big objects are masking planets like Venus, sometimes Jupiter, & Mars too about a week ago. Rigel and Sirius both have been masked by objects.
A new very bight object appeared about two weeks ago, matching no star or planet location on Stellarium. It is the same kind of object as the one in front of the view of Venus. [link to www.youtube.com]
MUFON now says that yes, there are objects doing exactly this, mimicing and masking known celestial objects. Hiding in plain sight so to speak. Until the new one, not hiding, and in very plain sight.
Is Planet X gone, destroyed maybe by it's inhabitants who experienced destruction as our previous civilizations did ? I wonder. In that same vein, is it possible that they are now here, having left their home planet for safer zones ?
I just wanted to throw some ideas into the mix here. If objects shown in SOHO are changing their shapes, then they are artificial objects likely guided by intelligent beings. Past years, SOHO had clips that showed what look like huge stargate portals. Lots of clips that looked like mining going on at the sun.
Something is going on up there. The government is blocking access to it's satellite eyes. People who have cameras on the skies are picking up much strangeness up there. It can't be explained away.
Interesting times we are in. **** PEACE ****

Well AC I think I see your point now.
The "object" took nearly 15 to cross the outer bright green part of the COR1 image and disappeared behind the occultation disk at approx 15:06 hs, then it should take another 15 hs to reappear, which would mean about 4-5 AM tomorrow.
OK! Then we need to wait some more 5 hours to finish this stage of the investigation. |

I think that proof here is relative to what we have as our observational data. We basically have NASA's pictures and a few plots showing the relative position of the planets and the satellites. We're comparing pictures and know positions of the charted objects to draw our conclusions.
For me it will do if it reappears in the next few (4-5) hours on COR1 Behind (if it reappeared in COR2 also would be even better) and if it transits through LASCO in July/06 as predicted.
Better than this I think only if we had a direct observation of the "object". |

Unless it comes with high speed from "nowhere", I don't think so.
The object of this thread is/was the best candidate to produce such a flare and it obviously didn't hit the Sun.
If it had hit the Sun there would be some noticeable flares resulting from the disintegration of it, and this has not been observed. |

Interesting. I went to a national solar observatory today in the Sacramento mts...[translation: Private club with fancy do-dads LOL. It was overcast no shots today. Even if there were shots,...the scope is only focused in accordance with reservation. People plan out in advance when and what to look at.
I spoke to a guy there,…Mike.
He knew about the building solar flare by the internet.
Not from the equipment at his disposal.
