Those pics are great. I was born in 1969, but I remember seeing a lot of those items through the 1980s. I think my polyester aunt had that pointy clock.

anyone here remember the old colorful tin cups, kept your kool-aid and drinks cold for a long time, ice will still be in the cup an hour later , my favorite color was purple

I remember when I could to to McDonalds and get a hamburger for 15 cents and fries for a dime. Whole meal was one quarter and if you wanted a coke, just another 10 cents.

Those pics don't make me think "good old days." We are in the time we're in, and what's time, anyway? All those people in the photos--just people like us with different hairdos and without the benefits of digital photography.

Born 1954. I remember most of the things in these pictures. I thought a lot of that stuff was corny even back then. Notice how all of the women - unless they're dancing or smoking - are wearing aprons?

I even remember watching Eisenhower on TV and Kennedy's inauguration.

look at the old drive in window car speakers , ahh, cool sounds , remember the old A&W when they use to hang your food on the car window, I remember my dad tippied one over , my baby burger basket was on the ground , i cried,lol

Since I travel so much, one of my hobbies is to take pictures of the really old store signs that still exist in some of the cities I've been in.

At some point, I'd like to put them into a book, I'm going to call "Signs along the way".
