obama quit the senate in his first term to run for president
I do not recall that he did quit....I thought the senate seat was given up after he won? Link please if he did quit prior or during the campaign.

As long as Sarah believes she is devine and that God chose her to govern she is always gonna get some 20 maybe 30 percent of any vote and nothing near a majority to win anything outside of Alaska.
She is NO threat to anyone except herself. |

"There was no immediate word as to why she will step down before the end of her first term, though some have speculated in the past that she may be interested in running for president in 2012."
So, who'd vote for someone who quit before the end of a first term? Huh? no takers?
She can put quitter on her long (snicker) resume.
