We are seeing the effects of the culminating lunar eclipse of Moon in Capricorn by Sun in Cancer on July 7th with the resignation of Sarah Palin. I predicted something like this would happen in which the dynamic tension between Capricorn(government) and the Cancerian mother archetype builds and we view the continued slaughter of womanhood (Cancer) in our government. I have the greatest respect for Katherine Austin Fitts, who used to be in government and bucked the system. She says that nobody gets elected unless the Feds have something they can use to hold over their heads, blackmail them if they get out of line.
I was not a Palin supporter (Ron Paul, Pan Paul) but I think I have more respect for Palin now. I bet she's refusing to cave on something, willing to take the hit for her integrety's sake.

She could have at least stayed until her term ran out.

She said in her speach that she was spending all of her time and millions of dollars of the states money dealing with frivolous acqusations against her.
Nothing was getting done because some can't deal with having a strong woman in power.
Whatever she does next will be done with the best of intentions.
