Twitter BNO.URGENT -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin confirms she will resign at the end of this month and transfer power to Lt. Gov. Parnell.
Some speculate it's to run for Senator from Alaska , a better position than Gov for a presidential run From that time Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17 |

Sarah Palin has announced that she will resign as governor of Alaska and will not seek a second term.
CBS Affiliate KTVA reports that at a press conference this morning Palin said she will resign the governorship within a few weeks.
CBSNews.com producer Scott Conroy, who covered Palin's vice presidential campaign last year, confirmed through a source close to the governor said she is leaving office.
Earlier today, a holiday, Palin sent out an early morning press release indicating that she would be making an announcement from her home in Wasilla.
Joining Palin were her parents, family and state commissioners.
Palin said that power will be transferred to Lt. Governor Sean Parnell, who will be sworn in during the upcoming governor's picnic in Fairbanks.
She did not field questions, and would not give any indications about her future plans.

You can bet there's plenty of pemmican in her pouch so she can just sit on her porch and watch Russia everyday while she blogs her mouth off to the world. shift happens |

GOP sources tell CNN Palin will not seek re-election.
WASHINGTON (CNN) – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is expected to announce Friday that she will not seek a second term, three sources tell CNN.
Palin has scheduled a 3 p.m. ET news conference at her home in Wasilla. The governor’s office offered no further details about the subject of the news conference, but the sources tell CNN that Palin will announce her decision to forgo another run.
"She thinks she has accomplished goals she has set forward," one of the sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said. "She sees what a positive influence she has had on people's lives from traveling the country in the last year."
As the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, Palin is considered one of the frontrunners for the GOP nomination in 2012. Her decision not to seek another term as governor is sure to stoke speculation that Palin is seriously eyeing a run for the White House.

So, who'd vote for someone who quit before the end of a first term? Huh? no takers?
She can put quitter on her long (snicker) resume.
Why do they pay these people to write this garbage.

I am officially giving up on all you sarah palin haters, because no matter what i say, you are so deluded with lib propaganda to really sort out the good politicians from the bad. She will announce a run for the Senate seat held by Murkowski in 2010. She'll need time to campaign blah blah and it would take her away from being Gov so that will be the reason.
She'd be as good a Senator as Al Franktardlin.....lol....would be good for her career too...if she wants to ever go anywhere....she needs more mileage.....DC mileage... ____________________________________________________
