If one does not have serious aspirations to higher office, they do not resign as governor, especially when there is so much time to go and NOBODY has announced.
Note that most political news is hidden by releasing it on a Friday or Saturday, especially on a holiday weekend. That is because they want it to be ignored or hope that it is overshadowed by other news (e.g. the funeral of that dead celeb). Classic NY move when there is an indictment of a politico.

it is the same thing, senate terms are 6 years, if palin runs for president in 2012 then she would serve 2/3 of her senate term if elected in the next couple of months. Obama served 45 months of his term campaigning for HALF of that. So don't sit there and tell me its not the same thing with a tone you idiot

hell no, it wasn't until he won the primaries that i started doing some digging and found he was going to be a very bad president. If something about palin come to light that shows she is not that good of a candidate, i will gladly tell you all that i was wrong, but she hasn't done anything yet to warrant negative reviews

Is this a case of yet another governor biting the dust? They are dropping like flies in historic numbers; but perhaps that has escaped your attention in your love of hating her. Instead you should be paying attention to the larger pattern.
I do not agree with a lot of her positions. You don't like that she's beautiful? You don't like that she's smart - and she is certainly that? At least she knows how to handle a gun without shooting her bestest buddy, like Cheney. She has a real life, like the rest of us and does not hide it in a hidden room, like so many political types you have loved to love. At least she does not scam you by claiming she is something she is not. At least she is a real person, not a celluloid celebrity cut-out or propped up smarmy politico.
At least she has guts. I hope she sticks it out. If you hate her, you must love what is happening to our country now - and the perps behind it.
