Your mentality is the problem.
You can either
A) Shield your children from society and reality as a whole, lie to them, tell them that people do not in fact enjoy putting penises into vaginas
or
B)Grow up, have a discussion with THEM and dont get huffy at posters if they post such material, albeit childish and dumb. The world we live in may not be ideal to your set of morals but sooner or later, the little ones are gonna figure out what sex and pornograpny is and it will not be the end of existence. |

Sexuality is an adult concern and they will get their share of it once they start high school. why can't we let them enjoy their innocence while they still have it. seriously now Nees, if you let your kids view this site IN DETAIL, you have some serious issues if you do not want them viewing coarse language or sexual references.

i have a 10 year old, and many times this past 5 years she's looked over my shoulder on here, and the only comment she's made is 'daddy, what is that dog doing to that funny yellow face?'

Though I hated that thread I have to say....it begins waaaay before high school. I have had 12 year olds telling me about their sex lives. Evidently to kids as young as 6th grade some sexual acts at parties, etc.....they do not consider sex or cheating. And they are too afraid to talk to their parents. But it is everywhere.
Another asked me to look at their myspace message. Another 7th grader was asking her to go to a sleepover, except the activities would make you spew your drink on the puter screen if I told you.
I do not even really care to hear some of what they tell me, but for some reason I am the kind of person people spill to, even total strangers.
The youngest I have known personally was a 11 yr old girl. She was pregnant by a 17 yr old. One parent took her to have an abortion.
But my point was, I wish more would be open with their children. And that kids would feel safe enough to talk to their parents. In the case of the 11 year old, maybe she would not have been sexually active.
BTW, that one went to a religious private school to protect her from a "bad influence". |

All us parents know when to be discreet. whenever my daughter comes up and a bad thread is on i always scroll down, so she doesn't see it, and i never leave GLP on if I leave the 'puter.

I lament the loss of decent america. when people didnt flaunt and force their sexuality on other people. I was almost 22 before i married and had a sex life. and even then i was teased mercilessly about being a prude. an old maid, a virgin and such. I even had an emergency room nurse say that someone should pin a blue ribbon on me and ridiculed me because i was still a virgin at the ripe old age of 21. I was almost forced to get a man because of the tremendous pressures of friends and relatives. all i am saying is that sex should be a private issue for individuals. and shouldnt be turned into a public circus.
