If the aliens were going to send us a warning greeting card, don't you think it would be a little more ominous than pretty pictures and symbols?
Seems more to me like a Hallmark Welcome to the Universe card...
I cannot speculate on how they think, however.

I have to say I believed that crop circles were fakes up until a few weeks ago. When I saw the July 7th prediction I started taking a closer look. There is a sun spot that started on July 4th. My question is what is the likelihood that a human could predict a solar events months in advance? I googled that question and some computer models can predict up to 2-3 day in advance solar activity but not much more than that. There's also talk about the hight of the suns cycle in 2012/2013.
Today July 6th there's 41 solar events a major difference from past weeks and months. If you take a look at the history of solar activities the last time the sun was this active was April/May 2008 (about 60 events). While in April 2009 the solar events were in the range of about 5 events when the circles started to appear.

I have to said that picking a date for cosmic activate to accrue months in advance and while using visual clues in crop circles to find the date is amazing no matter how you look at it. |

I find all of this fascinating and only wish I knew more about it. Can anyone tell me if your equipment is protected if it is shut off? Would it be wise to just not turn the PC's on during a warning like this?

All electrical equipment has wires in it - the wires focus the energy of an electromagnetic pulse from the sun and if the pulse is strong enough, it is my understanding that it could actually melt some of the components inside ruining your equipment.
This will affect many things not just for days but more likely for months.
PLEASE stock up on food and water so that you aren't desperate if ANY emergency situation should arise. |
