Freight Train vs. Tornado: Is this a fake video???

Swamp gas.
You notice how the only car we can see on is bouncing around going down the tracks, but the car the camera is on, never bounces, moves, or tips until the fuel car slams into it.
It was a test by the military at weather control. I mean we've got castro firing his hurrican cannon at us, so we need to catch up.

 | | Re: Freight Train vs. Tornado: Is this a fake video??? | Quote | A year ago in January of 2008, there was a bunch of F1 tornadoes in Northern Illinois that destroyed a couple of barns, damaged a home or two, knocked down a few oak trees, and KNOCKED A PARKED LOCOMOTIVE ONTO ITS SIDE. Yes - a small F1 tornado - barely visible, can do this. In fact, old classic red gable-roofed barns are slowly disappearing from the landscape as time marches on mostly due to fire and tornado (or high wind) damage. Neglect certainly plays a role, but even a small F1 tornado can be the death of these venerable old structures. Over a 500 year period, the odds of NOT getting hit by one of these would start to get high.
I have one of these classic barns - and I do worry about both wind and fire (lightning is one of the biggest starters by the way). You lose of these, and insurance companies replace it with a one story cheapo metal pole barn that only covers the square footage of the foundation. Never mind that that most of these old structures have two and sometimes three FLOORS of usable space. I have a rider on my policy that if something happens, they are supposed to fix or replace the ORIGINAL with original materials.
I'm skeptical they'd really do this without a massive fight in court over it. So I pray instead that nothing happens to it (in my lifetime anyway ;-)
I The best advice we can give on this matter is to read with your heart as well as your mind. Follow the flow, let the nuances lie unanswered and unchallenged in your mind. Treat this as a garden you are walking through for the first time, and experience it fully without trying to categorize it! Much of what you will learn will be processed in your subconscious, and influence your conscious mind later. If you must dissect each phrase, and correlate it with each piece of information taken from another source, you will trash much of what you could otherwise gain. Live in the gray, not always insisting on black and white and strict compartmentalizations.

I believe it's real because tornadoes have very powerful
winds and could have hit that particular car just right
to tip it over. Quoting: DrPostman

No tornado large enough to derail a train that I could see.

I didn't see the trees moving like a tornado was at that scene. I didn't see any signs of a tornado at all. More likely a car just derailed and took others with it. |

Whe you are THAT CLOSE to a tornado YOU DO NOT SEE A "tornado". It just looks like a huge wall of swirling clouds.
...everything in that vid is what I remember seeing come up my street.
Did you not see the debris in the air?? |

Starting at 55 seconds, watch the trees in the background. I thought I'd beat the inevitibility of death to death just a little bit. |

Tornadoes rarely strike in the Midwest in the middle of winter, though. However, if you watch the trees, they were still and then all of the sudden started to move violently as though a small mini tornado came through. I wonder why there just happened a camera on the train? Very cool video all the same. |

Jackinthebox User ID: 714951 7/4/2009 12:16 PM | | Re: Freight Train vs. Tornado: Is this a fake video??? | Quote | Yeah, I would say that's real. That was scary when all of the sudden the rest of the train suddenly appears out of the mist, coming straight at us, TANKER car first! Cool vid OP.
And just for the record, you guys would be surprised how many train accidents there are. I know someone who works for a company that cleans up train wrecks. They're busy all the time. When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.
Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

I've been in several tornados, and never actually saw the funnel. Though I do hope to see that classic image one day live. Dread Pirate Roberts User ID: 717433 7/4/2009 12:18 PM | | Re: Freight Train vs. Tornado: Is this a fake video??? | Quote | I watched as the cars to the rear of the camera increasingly bounced, indicating higher winds. Then the rain started splattering the camera and the hail passed by the camera lens. Then the cars bounced more, and then, wham!
The rest of the cars coming out of the mist was a surprise. But I wondered why the tank didn't explode. Maybe it just rolled down the hill without a rupture. I think the video is real From that time Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17 |

My Take User ID: 673609 7/4/2009 12:22 PM | | Re: Freight Train vs. Tornado: Is this a fake video??? | Quote | A couple of things-
I've lived in tornado country all my life. It is very rare from my experience for rain to occur, or hail, during a tornado. We always had a belief that once it rained the danger of a serious funnel had passed.
Second, were those flames or simply sparks? If flames, where did they come from?
Another factor may be that we are no longer properly maintaining the tracks so derailments happen with some regularity even in the absense of bad weather.
The film looks real. Odd weather we sometimes have. |
