And the federal budget he unveiled last month projects even faster increases in the National Debt. It’ll hit $12.7-trillion by the end of the fiscal year on September 30th. The Administration’s four year estimate shows that by the end of September 2012, the Debt will have soared to $16.2-trillion – which amounts to nearly 100% of the projected Gross Domestic Product that year.

The U.S. is running up so much debt so quickly, some investors are worried. Over the weekend, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, who says his country has about a trillion dollars invested in U.S. Treasury notes, said he wanted a guarantee.

Ron Paul: "Some Big Events Are About To Occur"

Ron Paul is just another tool. Instead of facing down the insipid Bernanke, he allows him to give his boiler-plate answers and skate off to the next congress-criminal questioner. Ron Paul barely understands monetary policy, and he sounds like he's trying to think out loud, most of the time he's talking.

The economic prolems are a direct result of the greed of americans. We do not work together with an american spirit. FOr example, when at a local store the other day, there were 17 cars in the lot. 16 were foreign cars, and one old ford tuck. When in the mall the only store that had any clothes made in the US was at sears. We do not even support our own country. We have to have that BMW and buy clothes from Holister which are made in latin america. We are the laughing stock of the world, and now we are not only in a socialist country we are living in a police state. But yet everyone feels bad, when they get into their toyota after checking their e-mail on their toshiba, while watching their new sony TV.
 Quoting: Coating01

It's a chicken and egg thing. People can't afford to buy American goods until American manufacturing comes back and hires them at a living wage. Henry Ford had it right -- build a very simple line of cars (black Model T's) and pay his workers enough to buy one. We need the pioneers who can afford to do that now for clothing, etc.

I personally believe that co-ops are the wave of the future -- where the producers are also the owners with good solid leadership. That's how the country should work as well. Right now the USA is owned by the financiers.

The "Cap and Trade" program will not only wipe out the middle class but will make it impossible for any company that produces CO2 or uses a lot of energy to survive here in the US. They will leave and so will those jobs.

Not to mention that tax payers (the poor and middle class) will foot the bill.

If you use some common sense, Ron Paul is giving a warning of what is soon to come. A warning to U.S. citizens PREPARE!!
At least he confronts these evil tyrants and the Fraud Reserve.

Ron Paul is a pathetic weakling. He lost the debate (and his electability for ALL TIME) with the Rudy Giulinani exchange, and he talks like a homeless person who's trying to explain monetary policy to HIMSELF. He has an EXTREMELY POOR grasp of monetary fundamentals, and if he know what he was talking about, he could cut Bernanke into ribbons. (Actually, any 1st year Econ student could do that now, it's all such a fucking fairy tale in Fed-land)

Bernanke wasn't even challenged when he said an AUDIT would be the downfall of the US DOLLAR! ARE YOU KIDDING??????????

Yeah whatever man.

Ron Paul forecasted this whole mess in 2003. He is also trying to come up with solutions.

What do you do? Piss on Ron Paul because you think you are better at economics then him? Really you are pathetic.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 670166

exactly.

Ron Paul did forecast this major fuckup economy in 2003. AND HE WAS NEARLY ALONE IN VOICING IT. he was considered a crackpot. People laughed at him. YOU IDIOTS PROBABLY LAUGHED AT HIS PREDICTION, RIGHT?

Ron Paul is not doing more BECAUSE HE CAN'T CHANGE THE ENTIRE SYSTEM AS ONE MAN.

He does back down because he is totally frustrated. Do you really think he is stupid enough to back up the 911 truth movement at this time? HE CAN'T. NOTHING WOULD BE GAINED BY IT. He would be thrown out of office. GLENN BECK IS THE SAME. HE CAN ONLY GO SO FAR ...HE IS SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW IT.

AND YOU IDIOT GLP'RS THAT BASH RON PAUL AND GLENN BECK DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT , DO YA?

and there are these fuckin stupid GLP'RS that say they can do better? THEN GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASSES AND DO SOMETHING RATHER THAN CUT DOWN THE ONLY POLITICIAN IN THE U.S. THAT HAS THE BALLS TO ACTUALLY OPPOSE THIS BULLSHIT.

this explains alot

sanders sc

palin alaska

and russia

meeting on monday with obams
===========================================

this from sorcha post last week

applies to both gov palin in alaska and sanford in sc

Russian Foreign Ministry sources are reporting to President Medvedev today that the Governor of South Carolina, Mark Sanford [photo top left], arrived at Russia’s Ottawa Embassy seeking ‘immediate assistance and protection’ for his plan to succeed from the United States over what he states is the ‘planned annihilation of his country’ by a ‘criminal cabal’ headed by the current US President Barack Obama.

According to this bizarre report, Governor Sanford, who has been reported as “missing” for the past week after evading his security detail, pleaded with Ambassador Mamedov to have Russia become the first country to recognize the ‘New Nation’ of South Carolina upon its succession from the United States and promised in return that Russian Military Forces would have ‘total and immediate’ access to his States ports and airfields.

Russian legal authorities state in these reports that Governor Sanford’s statements under US law could be construed as treasonous, though they doubt that Obama would seek prosecution opting, instead, to ‘neutralize’ this threat as most US Presidents have done in the past, most notably Louisiana Governor Huey Long who was assassinated in 1935 after his threats to succeed from the United States during the Great Depression.

Reports from the United States about Governor Sanford state that he is firmly opposed to Obama and the socialization of his country, with some of these reports even speculating that Obama wants him dead, and as we can read:

“In a chilling story that seems more at home on a television police drama than in a conservative political blog, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford has gone missing. The South Carolina Governor emerged as an early and outspoken opponent of President Barrack Hussein Obama’s stimulus funding and even refused to take federal money. The Republican Governor was last seen on Thursday when he was sighted in a South Carolina Law Enforcement Vehicle. His wife has no idea where he is.

There is no doubt that Sanford’s opposition to Obama’s stimulus plan made him a very powerful enemy with a powerful motivation to silence him.”

These reports further state that Governor Sanford was ‘extremely upset’ over the near assassination of former US President Jimmy Carter last week and stated to Ambassador Mamedov, “see…they can even kill a president and the Zionist media controlling everything wont’ even report it.”

Most interesting to note about South Carolina is that it became the first State to secede from the United States when it left the Union on December 20, 1860 after the election of President Abraham Lincoln and which started the Civil War that left over 1 million Americans dead and wounded in its worst ever conflict.

More curiously about South Carolina is its State flag [2nd photo left], which on January 28, 1861, became the National flag of the newly seceded Republic of South Carolina and is steeped in occult symbolism holding the ancient symbol of the Crescent Moon honoring the aging goddess and which to the Islamic faith means victory over death.

Most importantly, however, of these events now occurring in the United States is that they have been predicted by some of Russia’s most important diplomats, and as we can read as reported by the RIA Novosti News Service:

“A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.

Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily Izvestia published on Monday: "The dollar is not secured by anything. The country's foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."

The paper said Panarin's dire predictions for the U.S. economy, initially made at an international conference in Australia 10 years ago at a time when the economy appeared strong, have been given more credence by this year's events.

When asked when the U.S. economy would collapse, Panarin said: "It is already collapsing. Due to the financial crisis, three of the largest and oldest five banks on Wall Street have already ceased to exist, and two are barely surviving. Their losses are the biggest in history. Now what we will see is a change in the regulatory system on a global financial scale: America will no longer be the world's financial regulator."

When asked who would replace the U.S. in regulating world markets, he said: "Two countries could assume this role: China, with its vast reserves, and Russia, which could play the role of a regulator in Eurasia."

Asked why he expected the U.S. to break up into separate parts, he said: "A whole range of reasons. Firstly, the financial problems in the U.S. will get worse. Millions of citizens there have lost their savings. Prices and unemployment are on the rise. General Motors and Ford are on the verge of collapse, and this means that whole cities will be left without work. Governors are already insistently demanding money from the federal center. Dissatisfaction is growing, and at the moment it is only being held back by the elections and the hope that Obama can work miracles. But by spring, it will be clear that there are no miracles."

He also cited the "vulnerable political setup", "lack of unified national laws", and "divisions among the elite, which have become clear in these crisis conditions."

He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts - the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong.

He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all."

YES THE USA ARE TOAST:

The US administration has been saying it sees the first green shoots of economic recovery. However consumer spending remains low in America, and some experts argue the signs are misleading.
Yahoo StumbleUpon Google Live Technorati
Scoop del.icio.us Digg Sphinn Furl Reddit

What can you get for a dollar? Not much these days.

Its value dropped considerably at the end of June – and this is despite the Obama administration announcing signs of an economic rebound.

Experts think these are false claims of hope. They see a gloomy future for the dollar and say the $787 billion stimulus package passed earlier this year is only making things worse.

“The green shoots that they think they see don’t reflect any genuine economic growth. They reflect the initial reaction to the stimulus. If you shoot someone up with heroin, you’re gonna get a reaction before there is a withdrawal,” says economic expert Peter Schiff.

And as job losses continue in the US and Americans have less money to spend, their problems become everyone’s problems.

“America consumes 25 per cent of the world’s energy. It takes $3 trillion of the world’s exports every year. If America doesn’t consume, the global markets will slow down dramatically,” believes trend expert Gerald Celente.

Faith in the dollar as a global reserve currency is long gone.

“I think the dollar’s days as a reserve currency are over,” Peter Schiff says.

This becomes obvious when China, the biggest foreign holder of the currency, wants out. They’ve even asked for the topic to be discussed at the upcoming G8 financial summit.

Economists are predicting the death of the dollar. But the US has been printing more and more of them to keep its sick economy afloat.
 Quoting: Jozef S. 717877
I think that the reports are wrong,I base this on the consumer.
who is the one who spends the money that goes into the economy that all the reports are baised on.They are lookin at what is being spent as opposed to what is on hand. Its our money and you can bet your but,we are choosing what to spend it on.Yes since it was anounced by our x president, even before the election, that
is was finanancial armogaddon and we were are all going down, that we were all ruined. The stock market finnished, the americain dream finished,Oh my God THIS IS IT!Well it hasn't happend yet.The only thing that has happened is we got screwed but I don't think we are going to let it happen again! No we are not spending our money as before, its called intelligents. And in realality ALL the worlds governments are faced with the will of the people, their slaves, who are in no uncertain terms tired of being their little powans. They are the real ones who totally jumped after the lust and the greed that was to be had by all,at the expence of the little guys, who in reality,if did nothing tomarrow, thier world would fall apart! Why is the whole worlds ecnomeny basied on our dollar?Or stock market could "ruin"the others in no uncertain terms.Go to the store and get change for a dollar, what you will recieve is 79 cents?I don't thing so.This is all but bull shit, that taken with the load of nonsence that is put out as intelligence by the powers to be to make us feel like were "screwed"is a shame. There is nothing new under the sun,and though I will admit,we share alot of the responsibility for our own situaton,I don't think that much is going nto change as far as the powers to be,except they may have rethink their position on this, the world they sought after. Can anyone really speak about the real truth just exactly was is really happening in their world. Our seems hopeless, ofcourse!

How long can all these green shoots shenanigans perpetrated by criminal banksters last? They are planning their final moves for a global currency. Will the Middle East war be triggered? Will nuclear war be initiated in North Korea and Pakistan? Infowars reports :

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 714754

The State of the Russian State
March 3, 2009

Russia has faced a slew of economic problems in the past six months. Incoming foreign direct investment, which reached a record high of $28 billion in 2007, has reportedly dried up to just a few billion. Russia’s two stock markets, the Russian Trading System (RTS) and the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX), have fallen 78 and 67 percent respectively since their highs in May 2008. And Russians have withdrawn $290 billion from the country’s banks in fear of a financial collapse.

One of Moscow’s sharpest financial pains came in the form of a slumping Russian ruble, which has dropped by about one-third against the dollar since August 2008. Thus far, the Kremlin has spent $200 billion defending its currency, a startling number given that the currency still dropped by 35 percent. The Russian government has allowed dozens of mini-devaluations to occur since August; the ruble’s fall has pushed the currency past its lowest point in the 1998 ruble crash.

The Kremlin now faces three options. First, it can continue defending the ruble by pouring more money into what looks like a black hole. Realistically, this can last only another six months or so, as Russia’s combined reserves of $750 billion in August 2008 have dropped to just less than $400 billion due to various recession-battling measures (of which currency defense is only one). This option would also limit Russia’s future anti-recession measures to currency defense alone. In essence, this option relies on merely hoping the global recession ends before the till runs dry.

Re: A false dawn for the dollar: What the Russians REALLY think about US monetary policyQuote

---

This is because all the business's and manufactures have been "regulated" out of business and cannot afford to make anything here. They have no alternative but to go out of the country to survive, but then cannot compete with foreign made goods (chinese, etc.) Our congress and laws have destroyed America under the name of doing good. But for whom? Themselves.

Regulations kept manufacturing jobs here. Without them the corporations do what they bloody please. Well, they have shown what they want and obviously it isnt in your interest...
