Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
Interesting thread.
Lemme see what I can dig up on this subject.
No , I haven't yet tried the magnet on the third eye yet, but Im curious much.

But Im going to have to study this a little, sos I can approach this in the proper way. Will post stuff here as I get it.

Meanwhile:

When a correct relationship is established between the personality, operating through the pituitary, and the soul, operating through the pineal, a magnetic field is created. The pineal can generate its own magnetic field because it contains magnetite. This field can interact with the earth's magnetic field. The solar wind at dawn, charging the earth’s magnetic field, stimulates the pineal gland. This is why the period between 4 and 6 am is the best time to meditate and why sunrise is the best time to sungaze. At these times, the pineal stimulates the pituitary to secrete Human Growth Hormone. That's why alot of sungazers have reported to have experienced rapid nail and hair growth, restoration of hair color, and general rejuvenation. (by the way, Wheatgrass Juice is like synthetic Sunlight) Cleopatra used to place a magnet on her forehead to stimulate the pituitary to restore her youth and good looks. She didn't know she already had a magnet in her head.

Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
that's very easy to answer you can identify the north pole of a magnet if you have a compass on hand. if the compass points to the north using the magnet, that's the north pole, if south to south pole.
 Quoting: mind reader-Philippines 1258110

Ok-no comment on the idea in general, but to find a north pole on a magnet, its best to use a magnetic compass.
Allow the magnet to approach the north arrow on the compass, if it repels, thats the north side.

You may screw up your compass btw.
 Quoting: Dervish

the two quotes above are contradictory. typical ignorant blathering from the uninformed masses, or deliberate disinformation? who will know...

if i'm not mistaken: same poles repell, different poles attract; so a magnetic north pole will always reject another magnetic northpole. the red arrow of a compass points to the north magnetic pole, which actually is the south pole of the earth's magnetic field - according to theory; the compass' red arrow is its magnetic north pole.

please correct me if i'm wrong...

[link to en.wikipedia.org]
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

how to find the north pole of a magnet, with a compass?
- get a compass, align the red arrow to the earth's north pole region (if you need help on how to use a compass, you might want to abstain from such experiments);
- now point one side of the magnet in the direct line of the red arrow;
- if it repels, as in pushing the red arrow to a different direction, you know the magnet's north pole was pointing to the compass' magnet's north pole (the red arrow).

Just curious... if you live in the Southern Hemisphere should you turn the magnet over and use its south pole end?
 Quoting: MilliQ

no, the earth's magnetic field is global. earth hasn't two magnetic fields.

dear OP,

to open third eye it is not needed for years of meditation.
there is some awareness practices which opens it as early as one month or so. I suggest not to play with magnets if you don't know what you are doing. It may distort your magnetic field and that will be not so good effects on your physical body and mental body.

sincerely,
third eye

I have a magnet from inside of a hard drive... it's strong enough I think.

I downloaded a free compass app for my S3, and used that to find the poles of my magnet.

I now have it stuck to my forehead with some medical tape, and I am about to go to sleep.

I'll bookmark this thread and report back if/when something happens.

All of those talks and nothing to prove???

Come on people! rant

But there seems to be a confusion because i read this on other forum:

"Dr. Claude Swanson on Conscious Media Network TV recently stated that there have been studies proving that if one places the south pole of a magnet over the third eye (pineal gland) for 10 minutes a day for a certain amount of time, the subject will experience increased psychic abilities."

Confusing eh. but south pole is more stimulating in aggreessive way, than the north pole's calming effect.

I used to wear my DIY, ala alex chui ring magnets.I can tell you that it boost my vitality and sex drive!

Now I havent attempted these magnet on the forehead thing.. might fry my brains LOL.

Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
I've been using the flat magnet, from the inside of a harddrive, for over a month now. North Pole facing forehead, third eye area.

I haven't experienced anything out of ordinary, other than this, don't know if it has anything to do with using magnet method to clean pineal gland.

The other day, when I was in basement getting ready to take a shower, ( very dark, just a dim light on ) As I get near the shower, a very bright light, probably three foot in diameter, was near my body, maybe four to five feet away, as if someone turned on a very bright flashlight, for just a couple of seconds. Then, it went out.

Immediately, what came to my mind, is a portal into another dimension opened up. Now, keep this in mind, all I am doing is getting ready to take a shower, at the end of a long day. I'm not thinking about anything metaphysical or spiritual. I'm getting ready to take a shower.

This is the only experience I've had, that I cannot account for why it happened, while using the magnet.

May try using the South end, of the magnet, on forehead for a while, as someone recently posted. Maybe for a few days, then, alternate back to North.

Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
I probably should detail what I'm doing.

I removed the flat magnet from the inside of a harddrive. The flat part of the magnet, that attracts metal, is " away " from my forehead, the other side is what I have against my skin, the side that does not attract metal. I'm assuming this is " North ".

Every morning, for the past month, I tape this flat magnet to my forehead, directly between, and just above the eyebrows.
I wear it for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, sometimes a bit more. ( in the morning ) I don't wear it at night when I go to bed.

I have read you should not use a flat disc type magnet, or, any flat magnet, for that matter. You should use longer , cylinder type of magnet. I don't know why that matters, anyway, I'm using the flat magnet from the inside of a computer harddrive.

Now that I've used the North side against forehead, I'm going to start using the South side of it, on forehead, for at least two weeks.

abhie quoted: " The pineal can generate its own magnetic field because it contains magnetite. This field can interact with the earth's magnetic field."

Maybe using a strong magnet, over the forehead, can have some kind of synergistic effect, on the pineal gland. I can see why proper polarity may be important. Then again, using opposite polarities, alternating the placement of the magnet , maybe, every few days, may have a more stimulating effect on the pineal.

This is what I plan on doing, alternating the position of polarity.

On the sideline? Waiting to see what a silly little magnet will do to you, placed on your forehead? Waiting to see what results the other guy gets doing so?

Be a man ! ( or woman, if that applies to your gender )

Have the guts to do something! Don't wait for the other guy to see what happens!

If Robert Monroe, William Buhlman, etc., never got out there and took a chance, NO one would be having out of body experiences!

You have to take action! Don't be a wimp!

Those who wait on the sidelines, stay on the sidelines. They never get called to come to the field to play.

Don't you want to play in the game? Then, get the magnet, and, let's test this!

Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
I've been following this thread for a little bit now and even tried it.

I purchased a bunch of magnets awhile ago. They were just the neodynimum (sp?) type. I got them to line the bottom of my oil pan in my car. They are super strong. Strong enough I can stick one on either side of my forearms and they stay in place. Strong enough if you try to stick two together, they'll pinch your fingers.

They are 1" square, 1/4" thick. Both flat sides stick to metal, so I don't know what is north/south. I tried both sides against my forehead, just holding it there with my finger. After just a couple of minutes I felt "dizzy". Best way I can describe it, dizzy. No ghosts, other dimensions or aliens.... However, the magnet was doing something. Was is good or bad, hard to say. I might try it again if I get brave, or stupid.

If anyone was wondering, magnets are rated in, I think, Gauss? If I remember correctly, my magnets are 14,000 gauss. They were the strongest I could find for a magnet that was 1" square.

Sorry, your only half right. Yes the Pituitary gland is closely to the center of the brain, it is ALSO above your eyes if you were to draw a straight line from it to the front of your forehead.

Your Pineal gland would be located just BELOW your eyes if you were to draw a straight line from it to the front of your face.

I got a magnet I have had in my drawer...new ones on the way.

I used it last night and used a large Band-Aid to fix it in place. I was only planning an hour of contact but just fell to sleep in a flash. THAT itself was not normal. I can lay there for hours before I finally nod off.

I woke up and felt good...until I tried to remove the freaking Band-Aid.

Attention! Tape is not the best idea. I went through hell pulling that tape off my forehead. It stuck to my eyebrows and pulled a lot of them off. It hurt coming off the skin too. Even some of my head hairs got caught!

This gets better...don't go away!

I had to get up and take my husband to his regular six month visit. I sat in the waiting room area and let him go in alone.

I went in and sat down two chairs down from a guy who looked a little odd from the git-go. There were several others in the room.

The nurse-type came and got my husband. I watched as others either got up and went in or came out and left. Sometimes a wife came out, went over to a husband and they walked out together.

All the time as folks came and went this odd guy just sat there and never moved. A nurse-type came out and turned on the TV which played only commercials.

She said hi to me...but ignored the odd guy. I said hi.
I watched the TV for a minute or so and then mentioned how lame it was. I looked at the guy when I said it. He was the only one left in the room. He turned his head and just looked at me.

I looked back at the TV, then over to the reception desk and he should have been right there in my line of sight...but he was gone.

I was facing the door to the doctors area. He did not go through there. No one came to get him. He would have HAD to go across in front of me to get to the exit. He did not.

I sat for a few minutes thinking about all of this. Then My husband came out. I went up to pay the office visit fee and mentioned the guy. The lady looked a little surprised and put her head out to see who I was talking about. I told her he was not there. She said she was only aware I was there waiting on my husband.

I just said ok and laughed. They were all going out to lunch as we left. So I know no one was in there waiting to see the doctor in one of the little rooms.

I did not push any points. I would have looked like a fool or worse...a nutcase.

I only had the magnet on overnight. I have to admit I have seen a ghost before. It was my brother before I knew he was dead. It was the night he had killed himself...so I may be a little susceptible.

But come-on...it is still hard for me to believe what I saw was a spirit...waiting in a dr's office.

They say when you eliminate all the possibilities what you are left with is the truth. I am still pondering the possibilities...

But the magnet is going back on in about an hour...I like this kind of thing.

But not over night. I am setting the oven timer and putting it right by the bed.

The magnets I ordered are strong...I am excited about this adventure.

I'll be back...catfilenails

Sorry about that. I just was trying to get a little attention to see if anyone was following this thread. I've been taping a magnet to my forehead for over a month now, maybe it's making me irritating. I'm normally a quiet, amiable guy.

Thinking about it, it's probably not something to jump in there and do. So, for those sitting on the sidelines, I guess I cannot blame you. So, it can be appreciated, just knowing someone is at least reading this thread. Thank you to those are following it.
Reading what one just posted about using a 14,000 gauss magnets, and, got a little dizzy? That can be scary. I wonder what could be causing that dizziness? The pineal or some other part of the brain?

Ok, I've actually reversed the side of the magnet( south side ) I tape to my forehead in the morning. Just been a few days. Can't really notice anything, yet.
Will continue using the South side for another 10 days, maybe more.

Then, switch back to North side on forehead. And, if I notice anything " psychic " happening, will post. Saying that, I do notice I've been remembering my dreams more, last three days. Can't say I went into a lucid dream for more than a few weeks. Two days ago, the two dreams I remembered that morning, almost went lucid.

Will keep you all informed.

And, again, thanks to those that, who even may not be using the " magnet over pineal" yet, at least you are reading this thread. That means a lot to us that are. And, for those of you that are using magnet, or , getting ready to, thank you for the courage to do so.

@Waitn4end:

Wow! That's a shocker about the guy you saw in the waiting room! Guess he looked " real ", like a regular guy?

So, you taped the magnet on with a Bandaid, I use duct tape,it's strong, and, since no one sees me walking about the house with a magnet taped to my forehead, it's only me that sees the duct tape.

I just looked in the mirror when you said that about your eyebrows, mine do look thinner than a month ago. I guess they will grow back. Oh well. This is for the interest of paranormal science.

You fell asleep with the magnet on? So, it was on for hours. That could explain your experience in the waiting room. That is something to ponder.

I've thought about putting the magnet on at bedtime, leaving it on, purposely all night. Might do that in the future. I try not to leave mine on ( in the morning is when I do mine )for more than an hour, but, I have, accidentally.

When you mentioned that guy you saw in the waiting room, it reminded me of something I saw on the way home from work, one night last week. ( I work evenings, get home about 11pm. )

On a blacktop highway, close to my home, I saw a guy standing, in a driveway, very near the blacktop highway, just standing there. He was facing the house, then, when he heard my car, turned around, looking in my direction. I didn't really think anything of I, till I got to my house.
He didn't motion to me that he needed help or anything.
He didn't wave, either, and people do that around here, wave at each other.

What was someone doing standing there,in someone's driveway in front of their home, at this time of night, and it was cold outside. I remember the guy had on brown coveralls and one of those " earmuff caps ". No one wears this stuff anymore, not around here, for years. When I was a kid, I remember the older men wearing stuff like that. And, he looked very unusually tall. I remember that.

This is Tuesday Am. I used the magnet for two hours last night.

I noticed some nice dreaming and was actually feeling happy when I awoke this am. I really slept well! I do take melatonin and 5HTTP each evening but they have not left me feeling happy in the morning.

It may or may not be a result of the magnet. But it is something to note.

I am normally a very happy person so who knows if the waking happy feelings are unusual. Gotta be honest when testing something. I will be glad when the new magnets get here.

Side note. The guy in the office looked perfectly normal to me. All I can remember about his clothes is that he had his hands in his pockets as he sat there and had a heavy clothe jacket with dark and light blue stripes. He did have a short scraggy beard...not grey.

When I saw my brother there was not a thing about him that was ghost-like. When I found out several hours later that he had been found dead I was dumb-founded.

I'm up for it.

I already have a neodynium magnet I'm not using for anything else.

I used my old pocket compass to determine the North end.

I taped the North end against my third eye.

Let's see what happens.
