Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
Yes, I remember seeing that. Had to look it up on imdb.com to get the title though. It was "From Beyond", released in 1986. See [link to www.imdb.com]

Scientists create a resonator to stimulate the pineal gland (sixth sense), and open up a door to a parallel (and hostile) universe. Based on a story by H. P. Lovecraft.

Summary written by Ed Sutton {[email protected]}

Doctor Pretorius and his colleague work on a sensational experiment: by means of stimulation if the pineal gland they want to open mind for higher dimensions. When the experiment succeeds, they are immediately attacked by terrible life forms, who seem to be floating around us all the time. When Pretorius is killed by one of them, Dr. Tillinghast is under suspect and thrown into psychatry due to his stories. Only the ambitious psychologist Dr. McMichaels believes him and wants to continue the experiment.

So anyone broke thru yet?

Tell you some things you can do with strong magnets.

You can heal with them.

You can make poisonus bites non threatning.

You can take pain away.

Booner

P.S. be sure to only expose the body to the north pole negative magnetizim.

Ok-no comment on the idea in general, but to find a north pole on a magnet, its best to use a magnetic compass.
Allow the magnet to approach the north arrow on the compass, if it repels, thats the north side.

You may screw up your compass btw.

Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
I started using a magnet on my forehead for 15 minutes before sleeping.
One thing happened for sure, the constant terrible buzzing I have in my ears
changed radically while the magnet was placed there.
I also experienced constant dream state and as far as I can tell it was all night long.
Anybody else from the 2005 postings that have anything to say about it?
It is kind of strange that after one day of hectic posting the whole thing died over night.
Why?

Well it worked for me.

I wear glasses and I have one pair that had magnets fixed into the bridge area, the idea being that you could clip a the sunglasses component onto the glasses when outside.

Anyway these things were on all day long, I could literally feel the area between my eyebrows buzzing and tingling all day long.

I had some wonderful experiences.

Sounds like you may have an 'implant', hence the change in the buzzing! Did the effect go away after using the magnet for awhile?

Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
I've read similar stories. You can also achieve some marvelous things using scalar waves induced by different frequencies. I've read stories/tests with EVP and scalar waves too. In the zone, place the recorded, you can hear the voices like they're beside you and you can also hear background events.

While reading this book ( "The Science of Oneness", [link to ascension2000.com] ) a paragraph in Chapter 10 caught my attention:

"Walter Rawls, who worked with the effects of monopolar magnetic fields on matter with the late Albert Roy Davis, told me in a telephone conversation of his experiments with a North pole magnet situated over the pineal gland.

A mask was made which held the North pole end of a long cylindrical magnet over the pineal gland. The purpose was to stimulate the gland and see if there was anything to this ‘third eye’ business. Exposure was in the range of 10-30 minutes per day over a period of about 4 weeks.

Within the first week, he was sitting at his desk reading documents when he noticed something move out of the corner of his eye. As he looked up, the ghostly figure of a man had walked through one wall, moved across the room and disappeared through another wall. The figure was totally unaware of Walter. Further exposures to this North pole field took place over a second and third week.

The second week, the same ghostly figure moved through the room and glanced toward Walter as he passed through. This time, the figure appeared to have slightly more detail, not quite so ghostly.

The third week, while busy working on documents, Walter noticed a change in the room. When he looked up, the wall had dissolved away and he was looking at a small hill where a man and woman sat beneath a tree. It was the same ghostly male figure who he had seen on the other occasions. He sat quit still, watching this pastoral scene for several minutes.

The man looked over toward Walter and appeared startled. It was as if he clearly SAW Walter this time and possibly recognized Walter as the ghost that he had seen the previous week! The image faded away and the wall restored to its normal condition. From that moment on, Walter never used the pineal stimulator again."

So I´m thinking, there´s plenty of magnets of all sizes and shapes on eBay, maybe we could conduct a mass GLP experiment and see what happens. Any takers?

Yeah, I have some really powerful neodymium magnets at home. The cylinder is particularly strong. I'll look great with THAT strapped to my forehead, but my family is used to my magnets taped here and there. crazy

Wow!!!!!! I love this thread..I also found it today...tonight really..hehe..
I am using magnets for finding implants in the body,,The neodymium ones find them and de-activate them..You need to ask your higher self tho, before doing the de-activation if they are implants >>NOT for your highest good,,,then proceed...if they ARE FOR YOUR HIGHEST GOOD THEN LEAVE THEM ALONE..I AM GOING TO TRY SOME OF THESE EXPERIMENTS.

good luck to all, D.

I tied my 1" x 1 1/2" magnet to my forehead with one of my scarfs last night when I went to bed I felt some odd twinges around my left ear, but no change in ear ringing or anything else perceptible. After I had been asleep for awhile I woke up and removed it because it had given me a headache--I am not fond of getting my headaches started.

I haven't seen anything wierd yet, but I'll keep treating myself until I get bored or start seeing weirder stuff than I have already experienced. jump

Tell me truthfully...will you get frightened if you start experiencing paranormal things and stop trying? I doubt many people would continue to walk towards this experience. Only a few of us who routinely 'think outside the box' would be able to cope.

The recommended daily exposure time is 20-30 min., isn't that what the OP was saying?
I found ceramic magnets (3/4" dia) today at Home Depot they are much stronger then what I had before, will see what happens tonight.
I would love to see anything happening just so that I would know that there is some truth to the whole thing.
Good Luck czygyny and stay outside that box too many are in there already LOL.

WARNING! It is now 2 1/2 hours since I did a 15 minute exposure to the magnet and I am sorry that I did because I feel absolutely weird in my brain and I had the strangest two hour sleep.
Too bad the posters from 2005 didn't step forward and reported their experiences - if they even did any. Typing this was a real chore.
I guess we must let nature take its course.

Yes, I ended up with a really bad headache yesterday, (right between the eyes, go figure?) and had to go home from work.

I am going to use a smaller magnet next time. The one I used was really too powerful. It will affect my marine-grade compass from almost 3 feet away.

I feel like one of those idiots who think that if two pills are prescribed, surely five will do it quicker. another do

Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
Neat info on magnets and the pineal gland!!

Stuart Wilde talks about the effects of ayahuasca on the pineal gland so it's possible there are other ways of opening this organic window to perceive a greater reality.

Here's an excerpt of a letter from Stuart Wilde addressing the pineal gland (May 14, 2007):

"Modern humans can’t “see” well into the other worlds for their supply of DMT (dimethyltryptamine), the component that drives visions and dreams in the pineal is usually depleted. It is thought the stress of modern living and people’s oily animal diets, as well as pot and alcohol abuse tend to wreck the initial supply of DMT that each person has naturally at birth. Aya’ acts as a nutritional supplement replacing that lost storehouse of DMT in the brain. Ayahuasca gives you the priceless access to “pure information.”

Re: "Third Eye", Pineal gland and magnets experiment
I got the whole buzzing in and around the third eye, and in other parts of my head, and sometimes, other parts of my body, just as a natural reaction to meditation.
No magnets involved at all.

I am not a serious meditator, only do it every now and then, but I have found the fastest way to trigger the incredible buzz and pulsing in my head is to focus mainly on the back of my actual eyeballs. That is to say...I just focus my attention on the area in my head where I guess the back of my eyeballs is, and that somehow triggers all the wonderful third eye stuff.
When this buzzing occurs it gets very strong very quickly and for the first few years I really had to check in mirrors all the time to make sure no one else could see the pulsing and buzzing going on, usually in the front of my head and top of my head. It is usually strongest of all around the third eye region and it really gets intense but is always wonderful....no matter how strong it gets... and sometimes it gets so strong it feels like my skull might be half way to exploding...but it never gets painful...just intense.
It also radiates around the circumference of my head just above the height of my ears....like a band of pulsing energy. It also radiates to the top of my skull....this is a kind of tingling, sprinkling feeling, and it feels like my hair is standing straight up...but again, checking in the mirror reveals that nothing can actually be seen with the human eye.
And it also radiates to the rear of my head in a similar way to the top of my head.
If I hold my hand up with the palm facing my head I can feel the energy of my hand touching my head from distances of 60 centimetres (24 inches) or more.
I have never been able to feel any heat from my hand until today. I felt the energy coming from my hand against my head, as usual, but I also felt its heat against my head for the first time. My hand was about 50 centimetres from my head. I was in the car. I had the air-conditioning on...set to coldest....but I could still feel the heat.
I have performed some small healings on a couple of people a few years back....wierd stuff, which I have not repeated but which worked for those affected.
So what is all this stuff? I mean....it feels kinda like magnetism.
I don't have any precognition or anything else. Just these pulsations and feelings and little healing episodes. The healing episodes are restricted to myself now.

Anyone got any similar experiences with the whole pulsing energy stuff?

I know it's an old thread...

I just woke up to the world 6 months ago. Never even heard of the Pineal Gland until I learned that I'm not supposed to use it. Strange thing happened since then. I found my head-itself to be magnetic.

Magnets ( and coins, etc ) sticking to my forhead between the eyes. Temples as well.

Anyone ever experienced this?
