Wow, I was just reading last night that the county in question here is only 54,000 in population. That is rather small.
Sounds like killer may be a local.

I have been trying to pick up on this guy but so far not much luck.I feel he may hiding out to the east near water on a farmers land with a lot of trees around him

Sketches look like a guy I know from rural area along border of Carolinas.
If this guy turns out to be an Oxendine I'm gonna freak out.

The suspect is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, with blue eyes.
The murders all happened within 10 miles of each other in Cherokee, a county of 54,000 people about 50 miles south on Interstate 85 from Charlotte, N.C.
"This person is gonna be somebody that not a lot of people pay attention to or give a second look to," Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright, whose department has joined the investigation, told FOX News on Friday. "Obviously, he's either really good or really lucky."
Thursday's killing happened one day and about 7 miles from where family members found the bodies of 83-year-old Hazel Linder and her 50-year-old daughter, Gena Linder Parker, bound and shot in Linder's home.
So they are saying this guy would just blend in? I would think that being 6' 3" one wouldn't exactly "blend in". That's pretty tall. |

It's much closer to Spartanburg, SC. I live close to that area.
What's strange is that it is a tiny area (Gaffney) with not a whole lot of roads. It would be easy to set up road blocks because the roads in that area are not plentiful.
If he were going back and forth it would be EASY to catch him. That's why I think he may be local.
But, maybe they did not have the manpower with only a few cops. Now probably more resources coming in to help.
