What, exactly, would those of us who think she is a dud...a cipher...a flash-in-the-pan have to be jealous of? Her looks? Lord, billions of women are pretty and billions of men are handsome and can draw a crowd. And it definitely isn't because of her intellect or her judgment or her political savvy. Nor is it her parenting or grandparenting skills. Can't imagine what it would be. |

Seems you're not really interested in another's perspective......just making your point about your idol.
Ya changed it from hate to jealousy....and no matter what else is said, the only explanation is that everyone who disagrees with how you feel about Sarah Palin is clearly jealous.....
It's kind of sick......
or
maybe it's sweet if you're a close family member or friend.

I'm Alaskan too. She did nothing of the sort. She was Uncle Teddy's protege
and was personally groomed for the Big Time by none other than Dick Cheney,
whispering sweet nothings in her ear over the phone from his bunker.
She is an Empress of the Universe wannabe.
Watch the TurkeyGate you-tube and, instead of turkeys, insert humans.
Put Miss Sarah in some appropriately Empress-y outfit and that is what she
wants to be. Pardoning one of her loyal little humans while she sends the rest
to the chopping block without a second thought. That video is really chilling.

I have lived in Alaska since 1972 and in the interior (Fairbanks area) since 1976. Husband arrived here at age of 9 months and grew up on a potato farm here. We now have a water delivery business and manage a hayfield and I grow bedding plants, herbs and cutflowers for our very popular Tanana Valley Farmers Market, the farthest north farmers market on the continent.
Have two grown children, daughter in medical school out of state (no medical schools in Alaska) and son going to school in state. Fairbanks is a really nice place to raise kids. We really don't consider ourselves to be in the same zone as the Alaskans south of the Alaska range (Wasilla, Anchorage, etc.) Very different climate and lifestyle. Have to go water my plants now, it's been a very hot day and I was raking hay all afternoon.
Sun is still high in the sky tho at 9pm, it will set a little bit after midnite. 'Bye now. |

No, this was before McCain lost the election. For a month or two right after she was thrust into the national spotlight, all of the Republican shills were coming out of the woodwork to vouch for Sarah Palin. It had the opposite effect for me. If Karl Rove has a McCain-Palin bumper sticker on his car, I'm voting for the other guy.
She only became a scapegoat after the election. I think there is some truth to this, actually. McCain would have done much better with someone less polarizing on his ticket. Someone bland like Joe Biden. That was a safe pick. Quoting: R_shackleford

I met a man Sunday a life long Democrat from the Republic of Ashland Oregon.. said if Sarah runs he is going to jump on her team, go door to door if he has to. Anything he can to help her advance.
Huffington post and other left sites remind me of a pit of vipers all rolled up in a mass trying to embrace thier pitifull liberal beliefs. Thinking if they slam someone enough ruin their reputation they can win.. funny thing is the more they assault Sara the more they expose themselves as mean vicious and totally out of control. |

You seem VERY angry about her because you mention things that haven't made the MSM yet. Could you elaborate regarding you text that is bold?
Are you involved in Alaska politics? Because if not, I have to think it is Jealousy that is again raising it's head.
I grew up on a dairy farm in central WI during the 1960's. Hard work, hot summers with haying. Stone picking, feeding cows, weeding the garden. The "city" kids had summers off, we didn't. BUT I learned you tended to your own business because EACH life carries it's own burdens. Some of the country kids carried jealousy with them that during that time, their life was "so hard". But as time went on, EVERYTHING evened out.
When I was in high school I couldn't understand why I was being called names and had lies and rumors told about me. Very frustrating ... UNTIL in my senior year a girl in our neighborhood confessed to me that she had been jealous of me and had spread those lies and rumors.
So! Unless there is REAL tangible evidence to document the rumors and induendos about Sarah Palin ... I say the attacks are driven by jealousy. |

There’s a reason that education sucks, and it’s the same reason it will never ever ever be fixed. It’s never going to get any better, don’t look for it. Be happy with what you’ve got. Because the owners of this country don’t want that. I’m talking about the real owners now, the big, wealthy, business interests that control all things and make the big decisions.
Forget the politicians, they’re irrelevant.
Politicians are put there to give you that idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land, they own and control the corporations, and they’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the State Houses, and the City Halls. They’ve got the judges in their back pockets. And they own all the big media companies so they control just about all the news and information you get to hear.
They’ve got you by the balls.
They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want; they want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I’ll tell you what they don’t want—they don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That’s against their interest. You know something, they don’t want people that are smart enough to sit around their kitchen table and figure out how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago.
They don’t want that, you know what they want?
They want obedient workers, obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it.
And now they’re coming for your social security money.
They want your fucking retirement money; they want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street. And you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all from you sooner or later because they own this fucking place. It’s a big club and you ain’t in it! You and I are not in the Big Club. By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you in the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to believe, what to think and what to buy.
The table is tilted folks, the game is rigged.
Nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care. Good honest hard working people, white collar, blue collar, it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard working people continue, these are people of modest means, continue to elect these rich cocksuckers who don’t give a fuck about them. They don’t give a fuck about you. They don’t give a fuck about…give a fuck about you! They don’t care about you at all, at all, at all.
And nobody seems to notice, nobody seems to care.
That’s what the owners count on, the fact that Americans are and will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white, and blue dick that’s being jammed up their assholes everyday. Because the owners of this country know the truth, it’s called the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.
