Besides, if you check, you will find that Mercury hasn't even reached the Sun yet. It isn't even close enough to show up on SOHO. Just more proof this is NOT Mercury.

soho will see it when its infront of it. just coz it come from the right and left via the left BEHIND the sun from Stereo B's perspective.

Check out the orbit distance at aphelion and perhelion and im sure youll make the picture in your head.

That IS what I said: Mercury hasn't gotten there yet and since the other object already collided-with/passed-by the Sun, they cannot be the same thing. But pay attention, Mercury will arrive in the next little while... Used to be accompanied (followed) by a wormhole. You could see it on the old archived difference pics. But I had heard that the wormhole has been closed.
