They will seize any and all of your shit and if you want to pull your popgun on them they will send you to meet the God of your choice and then seize all of your shit including that popgun.
I invite them to try when I ever do anything to "upset" them. Heh, this country is full of nutless bastards!
And we wonder why the government has gotten so huge. We wonder why they're passing bills that hold more and more control over us. We fuckin' let them! Nobody ever does shit about it.
I'm proud of the OP.
Hey thanks Shine. Where is the GLP crowd that I'm accustomed to on here? Where is all the belly aching and protesting of the injustices committed against we the people? Our consitutional freedoms being taken away by the our government...the little guy being oppressed by the big bad wolf establishment...our rights as citizens slowly being pulled out from underneath our feet...the screaming and crying that something needs to be done - that we need to take action? I took a small stand, as it were...and so many suddenly go into critical mode as if I'm some kind of low class bimbo. My gawd, what a bunch of hypocrites lol. Instead of constructive criticism or creative suggestions, I get belittling remarks and no doubt lots of snickering behind my back. Oh well, all bark...no bite. Quoting: Tully D
It's funny that you wrote a note to the IRS and post here about how you did it and ask, "Lol, so...do you think I'll get in trouble with them...?" When you said, "The whole lot of you scumbags need a healthy dose of some of OUR reality." that was a written threat to "ALL OF YOU" and they can take that threat seriously. Don't you think that is funny too?
See the issue is not taxation but the fact that you wrote out a threat. If you excluded the threat and ad hominem then all you face is the tax burden. You could get a visit from Homeland Security not for the taxes but the threat. Later the IRS will just take any money you will not pay them from your pay or bank accounts.
The threat part is another matter and then there are legal expenses that like taxes you will have to pay. If you intend to take on city hall then you have to be ready for the possibility that you will lose! Threats of any type only dig a deeper hole for you to have to pay your way out of or serve time in! Many with noble intentions have gone to jail like the Browns in that video. I hope for your sake that they just laugh at your note but don’t be surprised if you get hit by your own flack. |

I was pretty clear and you are the one that posted your actions here on GLP. You asked for an opinion, "Lol, so...do you think I'll get in trouble with them...?" Based on what you wrote and no doubt sent US Mail there is a possibility that the recipient could report that note to a supervisor and if they want they can play you like a drum set.
I also included that I hope for your sake that they overlook that note since you do not want the IRS in your life. If you want to take on a bull sometimes you get the horn! It is so funny though that when you do something that is questionable and someone tells you their opinion when asked if you don't like that opinion you start justification procedures.
Hey, you sent something in the mail that could be considered a threat and all that has to happen is the clerk who opens that decides to show you who is in control. They can even say, "How mean this person hurt my feelings and frightened me. I'm a federal employee I don't have to put up with this sort of threatening attack. This person should be arrested and is a tax cheat!"
Lawyers charge over $200.00 per hour plus expenses so if you do get investigated just remember the Federal Government has all of the tax payer's money to throw at you to prove a point while you can't even pay your interest and fees. |

Here it says that Congress can and will TAX in that same Constitution that you want to protect. There is no "Freedom from Taxation" in the Bill of Rights. The Constitution in the 16th Amendment says you better get a lawyer who understands your political protest and does not charge you more then what you owe.

They can reach into your bank or brokerage account and take what they want anytime they want, and they will find your accounts almost without fail.
The bank will send you a note telling you the account is drained - after they do it. Of course the bank has to comply. After all, it's the IRS and they're never wrong. Look out. YOur big mouth has dug you a shallow grave this time round. |

You took a stand all be it small. You are tired of being pushed around and so you didn't pay all you owe and rather than making payments you send a nasty note to some person that simply works there who if they wanted could make trouble for you. Sorry that is not what you want to hear but like you say you have done this before. That will come back to you too in a few years with interest added! |

Look you want to be able to justify your actions by looking at other peoples actions to detract from your responsibility. If you are going to protest then start an Assembly under the 1st Amendment. Till the 16th Amendment is repealed or you are prepared to fight your tax bill in court then you must pay.

The IRS only has as much power as you give them. If they audit you, go only with the letter that they sent you, nothing more. They have to prove with the paper in front of them that your return is wrong. They have to subpeona bank statements, receipts, etc.
I've gone against the IRS several times & have won every time. I had a client & the IRS said they owed $5,000, I did some research on their website & using their words & the link to those words, I was able to turn it around that the IRS owed them $1500.
