FAIL Does the bill specifically delineate this without the language of "and other"? There is little to interpret when legislation is viewed from a legal perspective. It is written by lawyers, ffs. The bill is written with specifics, or it is not...which is it? . It does not appear to state "and other" or anything that would be open to interpetation. it seems to be literally for disaster relief as it states. but like i said the bill does seem to give homeland the authority to twist the bill a bit, but the bill does not appear to be a deliberate witchunt |

Herding cats lacks the proper metaphorical weight, unless all the cats are currently in heat and given low-dose LSD. Being in command of a well-organized force is almost a sexual feeling. You give orders and they get done, smartly and cohesively. Everyone comes home alive and in a damn good mood. Having your command break down is a painful experience. A few people who do not bother to listen or question your orders, and invariably one guy starts issuing orders of his own. People get slaughtered like ducks. You are here because you are prone to questioning everything. Owning a gun does not make you a soldier. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 714188Imagine an army of GLPers. Can you imagine what commanding that sort of fighting force would be like? Herding cats lacks the proper metaphorical weight, unless all the cats are currently in heat and given low-dose LSD. Being in command of a well-organized force is almost a sexual feeling. You give orders and they get done, smartly and cohesively. Everyone comes home alive and in a damn good mood. Having your command break down is a painful experience. A few people who do not bother to listen or question your orders, and invariably one guy starts issuing orders of his own. People get slaughtered like ducks. You are here because you are prone to questioning everything. Owning a gun does not make you a soldier. Incoherent post of the year! |
