heard a guy on coast to coast say that it is visable to those in the southern hemisphere now if they have infrared telescopes he said it is very easy to find and gives the exact location at right acsencion 18 and the you must adjust for parallel something hell I dont know but if there are any astonomers out there I sure would like to know if you can actually see it....he gives an animation at his website
he explains the problem is the outer nodes of px are pulling in all kinds of junk and that is a major problem and at some point the atmosphere of px will interact with ours...
those posting pics of px are just lens flares as it is not yet reflecting sunlight but in the coming years it will at present is only viewable with infrared......
if you look at the animation with the all the nods swirling around px you can see all the space junk it collects
he said of course nasa knows about it and they have since the early 80's
he said they have contacted the vatican with the location of px and they did not respond

If it is at the tip of Sagittarius, then both hemispheres can see it fine.

iras satellite sent very clear pictures...and nasa has these pictures....
anyone in chili or australia can see it now it is inside the radius of neptune on right ascension 18
vatican telescope will be able to be one of the first to see it in the n hemisphere vatt
between sag and scorp, off the tip of the arrow is right on acsencion 18 adjust parelex whatever follow asension 18 down with infrared and you will be able to see it

i started a thread like this the day the show aired. surprisingly no one out there as infrared lens?
is it that advanced / expensive to have. i'd imagine teh observatories can this and satilites. if u do have the lens how would u take a picture of it?

How is it that it's only reflecting infrared now, but will magically change colours and start reflecting visible light later?
I'm no astronomer but I'm pretty sure light doesn't work that way.
