Weird you say that. I've had a number of friends status on their Facebooks that they are sick with a stomach virus over the past week-and they are from all around the country.

True, vomit like a teen with his first beer.

Happened to my boyfriend last night.

Lady friend in Colorado yesterday, one hour fine, the next hour violent vomiting that lasts for a day.

This is no BS.. I was going to see some friends and after 3 hrs of driving I was all of a sudden blowing chunks... I never get car sick and I never saw the sickness coming on.. rather strange... thought it was from my dinner the other night.. perhaps not..

I had it 2 weeks ago. I woke up one Tues morning and I threw up, and threw up, and threw up and I got so weak I had to get a bucket and lined it with plastic bags. I threw up nonstop for ten hours, I couldn't drink even a sip of water and bile starting coming up. I was all sweaty and felt like I was going to have a heart attack or something. Then I had diahhrea for 2 weeks with a low grade fever, it was just awful. I live in western Alaska and my doctor said it was going around here big time, but I didn't know as I was in my house all that time chained to the toilet.

UK too. My mother had a very similar sounding sickness last week. I visited her and thought it was food poisoning, but her partner had eaten exactly the same and not got ill at all.

There is a cruise ship quarantined in Scotland with a vomiting bug also.
