You badmouth MS and then do it on a Windows system. Microsoft's biggest FU was Windows 98, 98 2nd ed and Windows ME... Since XP was released till this RTM of Windows 7 MS was able to produce products that are used all over the world and work well. Linux is fun but those that game and those that intend to use MS Office make up a rather large portion of the computer using public than the other systems. Numerous people have cell phones with imbedded Windows and what about X-Box 360 owners? Now on Vista what most people complain about is Windows User Account Control and so if you have actually used an OS X MAC or Linux box then you would face EXACTLY the same sort of thing. Just a bunch of assholes that would look a gift horse in the mouth. |

I would not do that though and I would not run my Linux box as an administrator or super user on a continuous basis. That is your last chance to prevent an EXE with a mission from messing up your system! |
