Monsanto VP to head FDA Food Safety Working Group??

Maybe 7/7/09 is the day of doom after all.

"Obama's considering appointing a former Monsanto vice president, Mike Taylor, to head the Food Safety Working Group at the FDA."

Taylor thinks we inspect meat too much. And the meat processing lines go too slowly. For good measure, Taylor is also responsible for everyone's favorite cow additives rBGH/rBST.
