Can anyone else make their whole body unbearably tingle at will?

Gradient, I can't do it at will, but it does happen to me at times.

It often settles in my legs and lasts a while.

I have always enjoyed it when it happened, but haven't given it much thought.

Just figured it was one of those nervous system glitches like a tic in the eye or a buzzing sensation I get here and there on occasion.

I can often get this sensation when listening to powerful encapsulating music.

I get a huge release that I can feel in my body.

I am under the impression that it is adrenaline releasing...

But I can't make it happen by itself, it happens under blissful musical circumstances

Well it has to be tied to nerves I am thinking.

I can increase the intensity to the point that I have to stop. Its really hard to explain.

It's having the conscious ability to expand your energy. I can do it, too. It's pretty wild. I've also noticed that since learning reiki, my hands get 'energized' frequently beyond my control. Especially while meditating.

Richard, no not like the C. P. I have read that. That is more like what this AC is talking about.

AC- No its not that either, I used to leave my body at will. The vibration is different. The OBE vibration actually feels like a 'current'. I couldnt control it, and it wore off when I came out.

It does feel like an 'expansion'. The more in fact that it expands, the more unbearable it is. I know it starts in my head and middle area.

Apparently we are on the cusp of a critical mass breakthrough in which many will realize their control over energy.

One example is the Reconnection in which there is healing without even touching a person... just using energy to allow it to come through.

The site looks a little typical of new age stuff at first glance but there is more under the hood than that. I read Eric Pearl's book two days ago and he's someone who instinctively throws off dogma, ritual, fear-based behavior.

I'd suggest you keep playing with this energy OP... you're going to be able to do more with it than you thought would be possible.

Its not new, however. I have been able to do this since WAY before I had any knowledge of anything. I would say since about 5 years old.

You know how you get a chill and then shiver real hard. I almost feel like I have to do that if I let it get very intense.

i can do it if i rake my teeth on a wool blanket. i get the shivers to the point it's like having a seizure.

I always attributed it to release of brain chemicals and endorphins.

I get the music thing at times, too. It can be music, a line in the music, a scent, a memory even. When something "touches" me I get this. Often my entire body becomes covered with goosebumps, too.

I think at these times our souls may be communicating to us.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I can do this too. I always wondered if that if that was the key to the metaphysical. At the peak, does your arms and legs begin to tremble? It only takes a second or two. I have had dreams that I focused this energy to my outstretched hand and was able to physically move objects without touching them. This was only a dream, but I remember feeling that same "electrical" feeling coursing through my body. And I have always had the feeling that if I could just take it a bit further, endure the weirdness/pain, I could do this while awake.

I believe that this is also the body releasing adrenaline, preparing the body for a nasty tumble. Like if you slip a few inches in the tub or something... or are wearing socks on a slick wooden floor...

Yes. I can do a lot of things with my body.

People with Asperger Syndrome often have "synesthesia", or cross-over between their senses. It's a form of "sensory integration dysfunction." Some can see colors of sounds or "hear" how ideas feel. It's not the actual sensation of seeing colors or hearing ideas, but the sensation of having the sensation, so to speak. Like sitting in a IMAX, you don't actually feel the wind rushing by you but you feel the impression of the feeling that the motion would create, if you know what I mean.

I have a form of sensory integration dysfunction that allows me to feel (in a tactile way) how feelings and thoughts "feel" and I can make my body respond viscerally to situations. I can induce the tingle you talk about.

It's interesting, a lot of artists and creative people have some form of synesthesia. My husband is a gifted guitar player and his auditory senses are incredibly complex and sensitive. He definitely has cross-over between his auditory function and his thoughts and feelings.
