Can anyone else make their whole body unbearably tingle at will? | |
Gradient (OP) Get over yourself User ID: 720411 United States 07/08/2009 12:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I know exactly what you are talking about. I can do this too. I always wondered if that if that was the key to the metaphysical. At the peak, does your arms and legs begin to tremble? It only takes a second or two. I have had dreams that I focused this energy to my outstretched hand and was able to physically move objects without touching them. This was only a dream, but I remember feeling that same "electrical" feeling coursing through my body. And I have always had the feeling that if I could just take it a bit further, endure the weirdness/pain, I could do this while awake. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 700543If there is any trembling it is only because I cam making so that I can't stand it much longer. What you explained has made the most similar sense so far. glptrainer(at)yahoo.com |

My husband is a gifted guitar player and his auditory senses are incredibly complex and sensitive. He definitely has cross-over between his auditory function and his thoughts and feelings. Quoting: Andromeda[link to web.mit.edu] Interesting, I am very sensitive to music.. in terms that it manifests physical things, I have a band, classical guitar, etc. Thanks glptrainer(at)yahoo.com |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 483402 United States 07/08/2009 12:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Its not new, however. I have been able to do this since WAY before I had any knowledge of anything. I would say since about 5 years old. Quoting: GradientWhat I was speaking of was critical mass, in which enough people are doing it too that there are more and more breakthroughs in what exactly is going on. It has to do with how seemingly solid matter is still nothing more than vibrating energy. So thats why I say its good you play around with it, so you're ahead of the curve when there is more and more stuff about this in the news. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 492028 United States 07/08/2009 12:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You are not alone. I can do this at will to the point where I can't take it. I can't isolate it to body parts. It starts somewhere in the center of me and extends out to the tips of my fingers and toes within like 2 seconds. I have been able to do this all my life. I used to sit and stare at things and make myself do this. I thought I could move objects or something like that. I have no idea what it is for but I know exactly what you are talking about OP. |

Gradient (OP) Get over yourself User ID: 720411 United States 07/08/2009 12:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP I'm pretty sure you're talking about Chi or Prana. Your life force energy. It's not New Age b.s. ask anyone who does acupuncture or shiatsu etc. These are ancient healing techniques. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 487397I am very aware of what chi feels like. As stated, I used to do things I wont even go into. Suffice it to say I can tell the difference between this and Chi, OBE vibrations, etc. Thanks for the input though :) glptrainer(at)yahoo.com |

Bo-Mega User ID: 721061 United States 07/08/2009 12:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have these "episodes" where I feel something racking my body almost like the chills only gradually intensifying, and I can control the strength by breathing in through my nose and concentrating to the point where, just as you said, it's unbearable. Only certain times though, like when I'm really cold, and if I walk outside into the Sun, it stops. The really strange part, when I feel it coming on, it's like my mind WANTS me to amplify it, and then I do! It started about 5 or 6 years ago, right around the time I started really reading the Bible and seeking truth...it's funny, back then I thought maybe it was "The Holy Spirit" based on what my mentor described that feeling as. However, I'm no longer that deeply involved w/ the Bible and Religon and am still trying to figure out the cause. I've thought before that this must be what it feels like to have a panic attack, but I don't freak out or anything, it just envelopes my whole body especially in my mid section/back and arms. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 720615 United States 07/08/2009 12:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That if anyone else can do it? What are the physical reason behind it. What are your experiences with it? Again, it is something that I can do and feel that is totally physical. I can also isolate it to one area or another.I can often get this sensation when listening to powerful encapsulating music.I get a huge release that I can feel in my body.I am under the impression that it is adrenaline releasing...But I can't make it happen by itself.I can increase the intensity to the point that I have to stop. Its really hard to explain. My hands get 'energized' frequently beyond my control. It does feel like an 'expansion'. The more in fact that it expands, the more unbearable it is. I know it starts in my head and middle area.I have been able to do this since WAY before I had any knowledge of anything. I would say since about 5 years old. You know how you get a chill and then shiver real hard. I almost feel like I have to do that if I let it get very intense.I can do it but i get goosebumps when I succeed.I can do it if i rake my teeth on a wool blanket. I get the shivers to the point it's like having a seizure.I can't make myself do it, but i can increase the intensity once it starts.I always attributed it to release of brain chemicals and endorphins. It often happens to me when in love, or listening to an awesome piece of music. At will sometimes. When something "touches" me I get this. Often my entire body becomes covered with goosebumps, too. At the peak, your arms and legs begin to tremble. And I have always had the feeling that if I could just take it a bit further, endure the weirdness/pain, I could do this while awake.I have been able to do this since i was little, i still do not know why i can do it, i just know that i can.The ladies can easily do it.Multiple orgasms are their specialty.Does anyone ever get the tingly sensation when their feet slip out from under them?I believe that this is also the body releasing adrenaline, preparing the body for a nasty tumble.I can honestly say that that is not one of my particular talents.Yes. I can do a lot of things with my body |

Like the other night when I blew up on an Iraq, Afghan thread. Or sometimes hearing the Star Spangled Banner, or the time my Son's bantam hockey tean beat the Aneheim Ducks bantam team. Things like that make me tingle all over. I have never had a thrill run up my leg though! LOL |

It comes as a result of your positive higher emotions, centered through your spine (kundalini) and heart center. Your mind can be helpful if you can keep it from trying to run the whole show. If you can, just allow your mind to be reasonably quiet and gently focus on the process. |
