eve did exist but not the eve you were lied to about. And it is true. Women don't get pregnant unless someone impregnates them. However one could be so lied to and seduced by something that isn't human that it's the equalvlant to rape.

In the bible it says that Satan lied to Eve, and Adam was right NEXT to her when this was happening. Adam wasn't deceived by Satan, but he let Eve be deceived.

In 1 Timothy 2:14 it says: "Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor."

So while both sinned, Adam was the willing sinner.

As for Mary, part of the reason why Mary is RESPECTED/HONOURED (they do NOT worship anyone but God) is because of how she embraced her task, whether she was chosen for it or not. Just imagine being in her place: you're a mother who has to endure her son being tortured, suffer immense pain and betrayal, and in the end, die for the good of all mankind. That takes immense strength on her part as a mother, and so she serves as a role model for others. Furthermore, isn't the fact that she was honoured enough by God to be chosen to have Christ take on her flesh, enough?
