I haven't caught the flu in nearly 20 years and I ain't about to start now...


Mind over matter, if I truely believe my cigarette smoking protects my lungs from the flu then it has worked for me.

Maybe its my belief in my powerful immune system, whatever the case, if you believe this swine flu is something you'll get, then most likely you will'.
If you believe the flu shoot will save you?, then it will.

Have you ever heard the saying " what you don't know can't hurt you"?

Well i've never heard a cytokine storm nor do I know what one is.

If it is anything like Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, their is a chemical reaction from deep inside which starts boiling into ulcers and killing cells. You start getting hive spots that spread all over your body (they burn like hell) which seep a goo with blood, sometimes it just fills up as blisters. Your skin starts peeling off, and the ulcerations penetrate deep to the very bones, draining for months. You look like a leper. And, it leaves deep battle scars. It is a most painful experience and only a 40% chance of survival.

I imagine it is something on that order.
