I just posted that I was hoping the best for all the passengers and their family and friends. So it is confirmed that they all died? Does anyone want to fly with all these plane crashes?

I'm in Thailand, and it was just reported here on Al Jazeera. Ironically, they broke a report on Israel soldiers coming forward to publicly confess war crimes against Gaza.
They reported all were dead.

BREAKING NEWS — A passenger plane carrying 168 people crashed Wednesday in northwest Iran, and all on board were feared dead, state media reported.
The Caspian Airlines jet was heading from Tehran to the Armenian capital Yerevan when it crashed near the village of Jannatabad outside the city of Qazvin, around 75 miles northwest of Tehran, state television said.
The Qazvin emergency services director Hossein Bahzadpour tells the IRNA news agency that the plane was completely destroyed and shattered to pieces, and the wreckage was in flames. "It his highly likely that all the passengers on the flight were killed," Bahzadpour said. He did not give a number, but state TV said 168 were on the flight.
Caspian Airlines is a Russian-Iranian joint venture founded in 1993. Iran has frequent plane crashes, which it blames on U.S. sanctions on the country that prevent it from getting spare parts for aging airplanes. Caspian Airlines, however, uses Russian-made aircraft whose maintenance would be less impaired by American sanctions.

what doesn't feel right? Russian-Iranian joint venture means, Russia sells planes to Iran that Iran can get parts easier to maintain them. Iran couldn't get parts for the other aircraft due to US sanctions, so Iran started buying Russian-built TU-154 instead.

The only conspiracy if any, would be by Russia taking advantage of the US sanctions, selling faulty aircraft to Iran, then using the Iranians deaths to blame the USA for not selling them better Boeing made parts! All Russia needs to do is sit back and laugh, waiting for Iran to call their allies to attack America. Remember Russia is an Iranian allie.
Russia sold Iran airplanes, but can't or won't sell them good replacement parts. Only the USA can lift sanctions on the sale of commercial aircraft and plane parts to Iranand Russia knows they won't. So Russia sits bad a waits for something big like these incidents to add fuel to the flaming tempers already in Iranians minds against the USA. |
