No. Some people just have fragments of essence discarded by other souls. These fragments are things we deny about ourselves and try to push away (intentionally or not). The deepest, darkest things people have buried (pushed away) over many years about themselves...

Think of criminals. Murderers. Child abusers. People who have zero conscious it seems. Many are just denied parts of ourselves, often the ones most determined to punish these people are really punishing parts of themselves. Instead of healing, forgiveness...we punish 'ourselves'. Fight wars against 'ourselves'. Seek to harm 'ourselves'. I do believe many people are even murdered by their own denied essence.

That is what happens when you deny feelings instead of accepting them and healing them. Over time of repeated denials, they 'fragment'. Get drawn magnetically to other fragments.
