I think the lady who called was doing the right thing to protect the neighborhood, the police should of checked out the ID and then left it alone. That would piss anyone off if you were charged with breaking into your own home and would probably be a smart ass to the police.
The part I feel is police overload maybe not raceist, is when they found out they were not breaking in they should of said sorry for the mix up and not charge the man with anything.
