Unless that fire will ooze from the seabed, California will not get huge earthquake. However, based on my knowledge of learning, California is due for earthquake in any moment from now as the land mass beneath it is becoming contaminated with waste energy from nuclear origin just like what Japan do experiences.

New York and Los Angeles will suffer the same fate if fire from the middle of the earth will ooze from from their fragile seabed.
