Everyone wants insurance reform. However, it is quite possible to regulate the health insurance industry without a massive, thousand page bill that will cost three times the trillion dollars they are saying it will cost. These are the same folks that cannot fix Medicare, Medicaid or Veterans Health Care. |

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened. |

I do not have to like him, but as a true American I stand behind our Commander In Chief. Thats whats great about America, you get to vote him out if you do not like the job he is doing. Personally I wish G.W. Bush was still in office. |

He made a number of promises that, just by their nature, can't be fixed simply overnight. People are expecting immediate solutions to problems that were decades in the making. It doesn't work that way. Since this is a country of "I want it, and I want it now", they're angry when things don't happen in the blink of an eye. With all that needs to be done to stabilize the country, I don't think anyone in the office would fare well under these conditions. 6 months has hardly been enough time to judge his effectiveness one way or the other. I'm willing to wait a while longer to see how it all plays out. This doesn't mean he has my support, it only means I'm giving more time before I make up my mind one way or the other. |
