The significance of the number 24 as the 24 circles and the significance of the 12 arcs of the central circle is as follows:

I have proved that the outer Tree of Life has a polygonal counterpart consisting of two similar sets of seven regular polygons:

triangle-square-pentagon-hexagon-octagon-decagon-dodecagon.

I have further proved that the dodecagon is the single polygonal counterpart of each set of polygons. Now the Tree of Life is said to be the cosmic blueprint of Heavenly Man, or Adam Kadmon. The pair of dodecagons therefore embodies the same information as the Tree of Life itself.

The 12 sectors of the central circle of this crop circle are really the 12 sectors of a dodecagon, and the pair of circles associated with each sector is denoting the two corresponding sectors of the two dodecagons that are equivalent to the Tree of Life. The number 24 is intrinsic to the mathematical description of matter. Heterotic superstrings, for example, oscillate in the 24 transverse dimensions of space predicted by bosonic string theory.

I conclude therefore that the essential symmetry of this crop circle is isomorphic to a pair of dodecagons - the polygonal form of cosmic man the divine prototype for living beings like humans.
