The difference between conservatives and a liberals as I see it is similar to men and women, the man thinks things out with logic and reasoning, typically and a woman reacts with emotion. This is how the two compare. lets take guns for instance, a liberal will immediately think all guns are bad because of all the deaths from guns that they have heard about in the news, no real thoughts about it just a emotional reaction. The conservative will think a little past the gut / emotional reaction and reason that the gun in the right hands could stop a innocents death or protect themselves and their family from the bad guys. Lets look at other issues, how about welfare, the liberal reacts without thinking farther than, we should help these hungry people by giving them money. The conservative thinks about it more that a second and knows that by giving them free money they will no longer be compelled to work. Every issue from guns, welfare, gay rights, healthcare can be explained by this. Liberals just don't think things out like conservative do.
