So, sorry, but Secret Societies have been around long before the times of even Plato. All of the ancient Mystery Religion were Secret Societies, like the Apollo-Delphic Mysteries, the Egyptian Mysteries, the Babylonian Mysteries, etc. The Jesuits and RCC merely copied what was already pre-existing and ongoing, and did so for their own purposes. |
