I think STUPIDITY is what will end the modern Western world and being to lazy to do something about it. No one should have to slave for 30 years to pay off a roof over their head. People have existed for thousands of years without having to PAY MONEY to exist.

I wish. I just don't see it here (Oz). People are more and more obsessed with it. Last week's final of "master chef" was the most watched show in our tv history......?????? I just don't get it.
And they are virtually giving away set top boxes, new tvs are cheap as, cable and pay tv is so popular, and people are going mad for them. Then, don't forget your other mindless tv based passtimes: dvds are dirt cheap, games, wii, etc..
The internet? Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, free porn at anyone's fingertips, etc... They just keep coming up with more and more ways to sit on your ass and watch other peoples' lives rather than live your own. And then they wonder why kids are too fat and why morals are flying out the door.

I try my hardest to get out of it but i am weak to be honest, i give up tv but computer i cant, i am too tired after work to want to do anything other than sit on my butt. I am hoping to start to raise a family soon with luck it will pull me out of this stupid way of life.
