Only low lives get tattoos. Sorry but some has to say it. If you want to be a scumbag and be called a Christian, that´s up to you, but you don´t see Godly persons with tattoos.

It is most certainly not against the Bible to get a tattoo. Christians love to use the verse Leviticus 19:28, which states that you "shall not put any markings on your body" as a means to scare kids out of getting tattoos. But if you read around that verse instead of taking it out of context, the Bible is referring specifically to Pagan symbols and using markings on your body to worship something other than God. Church members don't understand this and don't want young Christians to give off the image that tattoos can convey, but this is ignorant and incorrect.

Well since you're so privy about staying away from pagan symbols you should be made aware that THE CHRISTIAN CROSS ITSELF IS A PAGAN SYMBOL.

No no, i re-read the Bible, and Tattoos are defidentally not against it... Yes, Pagen symbols are, and don't say stuff like the prick upthere said about, "the cross is a pagen symbol," because this verse was in the Old Testiment, you know... before Jesus died on that cross? The Cross has changed to not be a Pagen symbol -.-...

So you started the thread, not knowing what the bible said. Then you went and read that in Leviticus and posted that it most certainly isn't prohibiting tattoos. That was before the Professor posted his bible quote. And now you're saying that it's Old Testament.

You'll probably come to a decision you're happy with soon, but currently you're all over the place. You're changing your position with each post.

If you are unsure, read the bible? i posted this thread for another phrase, not a debate on if it's MAINLY against the bible, now that i have my answer, can we move on and can someone help me with another phrase? and i'm sorry, if i keep changing positions, it's just that i get alot of ideas and such... it's how God made me, and i thank God...

Simply put OP, no one here can tell you what you "Should" or "shouldn't get" or whether it is ok or not ok for you..that is entirely your choice...all there wrap is just that...crap...trying to make you conform to "THEIR" opinions...they don't even know you, many do not log in and many will never meet you..so keep that in mind when you read everyone's post..including mine.

That being said, if you are going to get one, hopefully you will get something that "REALLY" has meaning to you and you will be proud to have when you are say...105.
