I recall reading a few months back that the feds set up a "relationship" with local police stations in all cities and distributed some kind of handbook. Bottom line - they have slowly been moving to federalize local police for several years now. Maybe not officially - but, I doubt that police chiefs will decline involvement if they are called upon by the fed govt to take action against civilians; they are being slowly lulled into compliance ...intersting to watch it happenind - kinda like the frog in the temperate water being slowly boiled...

The police are being federalized and a lot of officers don't even realize it...ever notice that the police in all major cities have the same color uniforms now?..when they used to be unique...also the patrol cars are all switching to black and white...where i live the local p.d. would lose their federal funding if they didn't change the color of their cruisers to black and white...the local police radio network in my area also was just recently upgraded to include national communication channels....just the tip of the iceberg...

Well i gotta say i have gone from total cynic with regards this whole swine flu panic, to quietly concerned.
The messages coming from our governments on this so confused and laden with such a tinge of bewilderment and panic that i am starting to wonder does anybody know whats going on?
Will this end as another Y2K, with the big pharms as the rapists instead of the IT industry?, or are we going to be in for a rough time over the latter half of this year?
When information like this is being spread it really is time to demand answers NOW.
Even if nothing does happen, people have got to start taking responsibility for the society they find themselves living in. Will we allow ourselves to be lead from catastrophe to disaster for another decade? and again look at each other uneasily and shrug our shoulders and turn back to whats on the TV? OR, will start looking at ourselves and our loved ones and start asking to those WE ELECTED to lead us, what IS going on?
