Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments... will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to die." But I chose thriller out of the list, simply because there are so few that do it right, but when they do, it's a movie experience like no other. The Game. Action is a lot of fun, but not always so original or clever. Still though, there are probably more good action movies out there than any other genre. And they can go into a wide variety of areas. The Island was a good one. True Lies is a classic action flik. Just saw Public Enemies tonight. That was a bit more of a drama actually, but the action scenes were out-fucking-standing. Sci-fi is good when it's good, and really shitty when it's not. Matrix, Alien series, Star Wars, most of the mainstream stuff I suppose. There's a few out there that no one has heard of that I like but they're just not coming to me at the moment. Romance, fart. Well, most of the time. High Road to China was a bit of an adventure romance, that was cool. A Little Romance was cute. Somewhere in Time is an old one with Christopher Reeve. Bridges of Madison county was fucked up, kinda pissed me off actually. Made in Heaven, my favorite romance. Damn, I guess I am a bit of a romantic after all. Comedy sucks half the time, unless you're talking about classics like Chevy Chase and John Candy and what not. Borat was pretty funny but Bruno sucked dick, literally. Not really a big fan of horror. I don't like shit that goes to certain parts of my head, and I'm not really a big fan of nausea. Zombie's version of Halloween was pretty good though, I'll go see the new one. But you can keep shit like Saw and the Ring and shit like that. Documentaries are what they are. All about wether or not I'm interested in the subject. Go to Hulu and watch "The Future of Food." And if you haven't seen this one yet, do yourself the favor and take the goddamned red pill... [link to video.google.com] When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!" -Revelation 6:5, 6:6 |
