My friend at FXCM says: "dump ´em, dump ´em NOW (USD)"
I am not much of a FOREX trader anymore, but just now I got another email confirming some gut feeling I had for a while:

"I am telling you we are urged from all around to advise against USD all the way now. Short USD. EUR/USD pair is going through the roof shortly, Chinese are dumping, it has already started. Just dump ´em, dump ´em now. Take the loss, it is not going to get better"

This from someone I used to play 18 holes on La Manga (Spain) with every week.

We have not seen each other for about eight months but please take my word for it: he is a Forex Ace broker (Swiss). Has a villa right here, and two ex-wives. Pure commitment.

In short he is saying the Dollar will tank in the next few weeks and he is advising his clients to close out all USD assets and switch to EUR.

Let he who understands take heed.

Look at the supports it broke. Signs were there end of July...

This will be an interesting graph to watch this week.

Nobody liked how those Treasury auctions went last week, especially with more to come.

I suspect that behind the scenes the derivatives mess has already started to unwind, and those in the know are making moves accordingly. Should be pretty obvious to everyone in a few more weeks.

Yep, we got the 30 year announcements this Wed. Who in their right mind would lock in 4%-4.5% for the next 30 years with the market shooting up and the dollar spiraling down?

Well, besides the Fed.

What is going to happen to the Canadian dollar?

Warren Buffet said we will all be paying income tax to the Chinese Gov't in 5 years.

The Fed & Inner City of London are done. The Federal Beast is in the process of receiving its Head Wound and about to get it's seat of authority from the Dragon.

Sept 20th, the white house will fly the Chinese flag. Currently 200 Chinese bankers are in D.C. auditing their new assets & chattel property.

You are a chattel that comes with the land.

Every single politician sold you out, they sold themselves out, and their own family members, children & grandchildren.

I guess I had better buy a wheelbarrow so I can carry enough dollars for my future shopping trips.

Dunno. Switch to the Amero?

That seems the obvious out for the USD..

They did it in Germany to get rid of the hyperinflation and debt.

eden, in your view:

is it sensible for a European Euro point of view to get gold?

as the Euro gets stronger over the back of the dollar. eur/gold could well stay the same.
