I've often wondered whether or not the people who poured scorn over Noah's warnings, actually, secretly took him seriously, hence their hostile reactions.
I mean, truly, if someone was talking nonsense and you knew it for certain, would you need to denigrate, undermine or oppose him or what he says?
Why would people simply ignore common sense logical statements, without even attempting to understand what is being said first?
Is it possible that the sophisticated, worldly people, who were so happy in their lives and satisfied in their world, simply opposed the idea that change was coming, because they knew it too?
Would there have been people who dedicated their time to convincing other people to ignore Noah or anyone like him, simply because they wanted everyone to be corrupt (acting against the will of The Creator), hoping that were this so, there'd be no moral authority in the celestial realm?

I doubt it. If they'd never had a good "frog strangler" of a rain before, why would they realize they were in the middle of what was going to be a flood? If the event really truly happened and isn't just an allegory, I would expect some panicked people to be beating on the sides of the vessel, begging to be taken aboard, when the water got about waist deep. |

However, since there were no secrets about the origin of men at that time (people lived for centuries and would have more accurate memories to pass on), those people offensive to The Creator would have known they were so.

well...i have some beautiful fossils of calcite clams that match Noah's flood...and the layer UNDERNEATH the calcite clams is all land animals, such as mammals / reptile related (i.e. horse, mammoth, aligator, etc) Dug them up myself..is quite amazing...is acres and acres of this location |

Is it possible that the sophisticated, worldly people, who were so happy in their lives and satisfied in their world, simply opposed the idea that change was coming, because they knew it too?
Would there have been people who dedicated their time to convincing other people to ignore Noah or anyone like him, simply because they wanted everyone to be corrupt (acting against the will of The Creator), hoping that were this so, there'd be no moral authority in the celestial realm?

None of those chinese dynasties predAte the flood. Neither do the Mayan or aztec. The eArliest of these civilizations date to 2000 bc. The flood was about 4000 bc. So you have no point.

I'm sorry, but the evidence supporting a global flood is pervasive and overwhelming.
Then how do you explain the Chinese?
Their history dates to before, during, and after this alleged flood.
Not to mention the Mayans, the Aztecs, and dozens of other cultures that existed before and after this supposed event.
A flood may have happened, but it was not Global.
Accept the following:
There are many parties here on Earth in whose interests it would be to invalidate the Biblical record by promoting false datess for global events and by promoting anti-Biblical ideas about them.
So the Chinese has altered their entire history just to promote Anti-biblical ideas?

The history of China is not a made up fantasy, it existed centuries before the concept of Christ.
Did you know that the Chinese would more likely than not avoid speaking about the first inhabitants of China?
