and i suppose he didnt consider that in 0grav and vacuum an object would encounter almost no resistance making a small amount of thrust even more effective

"body in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an external force" And if your dumb ass believes it doesn't lose any momentum because there is no air to reduce The Shuttle's speed then the fact that gravity pulls on that MOMENTUM continuously, it pulls it closer and closer and constantly towards earth meaning the center or DOWN and at some point The Shuttle will find itself rubbing on the atmosphere, causing friction, and therewith coming to a halt, or, on the ground. Take your pick idiot.
