Record rainfall- flooding in Louisville- 6-7 inches in 1 hour
Quote

I have never seen the likes of the rainfall we got yesterday. the meteorologists were baffled as well. The rain came down in torrents for an hour. The forcast was just for possible showers.. The most rainfall in recorded history in one hour here. OK, in the last 12 months we've had an ice storm of record proportions, a freak wind storm that knocked out power to 100s of thousands and now this. strange weather indeed..

Yep, University of louisville is flooded in many areas, cars were submerged underwater and 12 animals drowned at the metro animal shelter. Millions in home and business damage... it was UNREAL.

The University of Louisville got hit hard. Thirteen buildings are still closed and there is some major damage. Fortunately, no severe injuries.

Buzz, I was in Lex when the downpour occurred. It was horrible there, too, but they didn't get the flooding like L-ville.

It's been a crazy year, here in the mid-section of the country.

Hey, I live right across the Ohio River from Lou-ville. Didn't hear about the animals until I read this thread. How horrible. Had a dream last year about dogs and cats being in cages under water. In the dream I was horrified that animals would be left in cages and put under water. All of the animals weee still alive and climbing on top of one another to escape the water.
The dream then changes to me noticing kids dressed in fall coats walking to school. I begin to scream at the children telling them to help me rescue the poor animals. At this point in the dream a huge whole opens up in the sky where I see angels and gargoyles flying to and fro. The sky beings never look down and I realize that they do no YET know that they can be seen. I know in the dream, that when they do realize this, it will not be good.

At that point, my alarm went off to wake me for work. The dream troubled me for a long time after (especially about the animals). I wonder if this is what I dreamed about.
