Re: owls hooting in the daytime.
Owls are not usually a good omen. Many believe they portend a death. However they can also mean that you will be given insight (sight) in a normally dark situation---night vision. Usually though, it is seen as a warning.

OWL

Magic, Omens, Wisdom

The owl is the symbol of
the feminine, the moon and the night.
The owl is the bird of magic and darkness,
of prophecy and wisdom.

The owl is associated with Athena.

An owl totem gives you the power
to extract secrets.
Mediate on the owl and things will be revealed.
Listen to its voice inside of you.

You will hear not what is being said by others, but what is hidden.
You can detect subtleties of voice that others cannot not.
People cannot deceive a person who has an owl totem.

Owl people can see into the darkness of others souls.
Most owl people are clairvoyant because of this ability.
It can be very scary at times.
Learn to trust your instincts about people.
Let your owl totem guide you.

Re: owls hooting in the daytime.
sounds almost exactly like what comes from my medicine cards. the owl is also my "above" card, one of my nine totem animals. the above card is the guardian of the dreamtime, my personal access to the other dimensions. i found that rather ironic.

it also says that if you have owl medicine, they will collect around you, even in daytime, because they recognize a kinship.

they represent clairvoyance, astral projection and magic, both black and white.

but i was curious to what it meant when they are around in the daylight.

Yes. What is happening with Pallas? Is Pallas Athene readying herself to ignite into a comet again?

Re: owls hooting in the daytime.
It´s not uncommon for owls to hoot in the daytime. As one poster said an old wives tale has it that death is portended.

I suspect electro-magnetic anomalies change animal behaviors as it does human and probably plant life too. I was serious about Pallas Athene. Is she flickering yet? When she flickers she is about to move off orbit and this will be suggestive the solar system is being disturbed from outside.

i´ve been catching thread titles at sta about an outside source in the solar system for our disturbances here on earth. is this what you´re looking for? you may have to go through a couple of long pages to find the threads. seems to me there was a couple of different one.

if a daytime owl represents death, i wonder if it means in the hearers immediate family, or just something earth wide.

I wouldn´t place to much concern in daylight hooting of owls unless it becomes a wholesale anomaly. Check your compass if that happens; there may be a magnetic movement.

Your moniker of syzygy, to me, is suggestive you are conscious of cosmic order, perhaps when celestial bodies are in conjunction. You mentioned some affinity to Pallas. I think she is moving toward Superior conjunction? See if she emerges on time. This may be the season for cosmic chaos.

ok, did a little googling; yes, 152, it´s almost mating time, and there are a few species of owls that make daytime their norm.

11277; i´ve been syzygy since i´ve been here, and on other forums too. has nothing to do with syzygyjob.com or net, the earthquake site. tho i have an affinity for earthquake information also.

i´ve never looked up anything about pallas athene, and haven´t thought of that army brass in years.

but, i believe in what is happening on this earth, though i also believe it won´t happen as quickly as some hope. we have years left, but from here on, it simply gets worse.
i have no predictions, and make no predictions. there´s enough of that here. i´m not on a timeline. i simply "know" things.

I can agree with those sentiments. Know one knows for certainity when ´hell breaks loose´.

I suspect the 2006-2008 season may see what many have been awaiting: The opening of the first seal of Revelation.

When the Sun switches off...then back on...is the beginning of more cosmic chaos. Pallas is assumed to break free from her orbit and become a comet again. I have supposed this might happen in 2004 or 2012; it might happen in the period in between.

hey, man, i hope it was work that took you to texas and not the rain.
i love newport, we go agate hunting on the beaches down there in the winter (what winter??) and usually always leave rogue brewery with about 3-4 cases of their best! especially the hazelnut brown nectar, also known as morimoto´s.
newport is a great place.
