I'm not debating the existence of God here, but merely trying to show that religion, which ever one it is, is nothing but Pagan sun worship.
Interesting to me is the phrase "As above, so below, on earth as it is in heaven." Could there be more to this pagan sun worship? Could the astrological age have an effect here on earth? Does what plays out in the cosmos play out here on earth? Google Ophiuchus.

Re: All religion is based on ancient astrology and sun worship
All religion is based on sun worship huh?
I wonder, have the people that make these claims ever actually READ the Bible. Interresting things can be found in it, such as verses like this:
Deuteronomy 4:19 - "And beware not to lift up your eyes to heaven and see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, and be drawn away and worship them and serve them, those which the LORD your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.
Revelation 21:23 - "And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb."
Well, the Bible verses listed here should tell you one thing. The Bible is the worst guide to sun worship ever written.

Religion is for control. With new rulers comes new law. These new rulers couldn't completely change the old ways so they adapted them to appease the converts. This is why the new testament is just an adapted version of the old testament. The old testament is just an adaptation of pagan Egyptian. Egptians worshiped the sun god Ra. The story is the same, just the players change.
You should try watching the video it explains it all far better than I can. The work of Carl Ruck will also help explain how the old is transformed into the new in religious archetypes. Please read "The apples of Apollo" [link to www.amazon.com]

Those who should watch the video and the ones
who do not want to know the truth.
The guy who sites bible passages against looking at the sun or not needing the sun must be a real moron.
Hey nerd, we would all die without the sun.
Jesus is a personification of the Sun.
That is why on easter you have SUN/SON Rise services.
The Sun/Jesus is the light of the world etc.
The whole story is right there in you face and yet you cannot/WILL NOT see it.

I am all for this but we must turn our backs to fear first. Fear is control. Control is religion. We are programmed to fear each other. Muslims fear Christians who fear Atheists ad infinitum. How do we conquer this fear? How do we move to the next level?

No need for name calling. Though to expand on your points: Why is it that Lucifer is a demon of light? Lucifer, the light bringer, son of the morning star? The easiest way to get an old religion to switch is to offer a similar religion.
"Hey your boy Ra is actually Lucifer. He is a deceiver, he is not the true light. Our God is the true light! The real sun/son"
You always make the old religion evil in the new religion. Why do old pagan religions of Africa worship the feminine, the mother, the gorgon? The gorgon wasn't always evil until the Greeks made her evil (Medusa). It has all happened before and will happen again.

Yes, now that we know that, why doesn't he tell us exactly what it means?

The arrant enemies of universal democracy have ever been the crown, the tiara, and the torch.
Thus all the Sun Gods symbolize that ideal state of spiritual, intellectual, and physical emancipation which has ever been sacrificed upon the altar of human selfishness.
When the mob governs, man is ruled by ignorance; when the church governs, he is ruled by superstition; and when the state governs, he is ruled by fear.
Before men can live together in harmony and understanding, ignorance must be transmuted into wisdom, superstition into an illumined faith, and fear into love.
This state is only reached when one shuts out the outside world, and enters the inside world via meditation, the safe harbor, where the lighthouse of truth is waiting to guide you to your port of destination.
This inner light that shines, yet not seen for the foggy rough tempests, where the rock cliffs jutting out of the water like shards of glass, ready to rip open your hull in an instant, are finally navigated safely, by the internal lighthouse of truth, wisdom and knowledge, shining like a thousand suns, guiding your ship safely to port.
In the book of Job Chapter 38:33 "Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? 38:31 "Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Plei-a-des or loose the bands of Orion?" 38:32 "Canst thou bring forth Mazz-a-roth in his season? or canst thou guide Arc-tu-rus with his sons?" Now these are constellations and star systems.
This is all in reference to the zodiac and astrology. The definition of Mazzaroth in the King James Version of the bible is "The twelve houses of the zodiac". Look it up in your own bible.
Here God is asking Job (us) if we know the ordinances of heaven, and can we bring forth these cosmic influences into our lives. Yes, Right there in your Bible, that evil astrology stuff. In other words as the Egyptians said, "can we make a copy of the Cosmos within ourselves?
This is what all the ancient myths are telling us about. A renewing of the mind, via *meditation*.
In Luke 22:10, when Jesus is asked by his 12 apostles where he will go to settle his new kingdom,, he (Jesus) responds, "Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you bearing a pitcher of water, follow him into the house where he entereth in." This is the "House of Aquarius" Zodiac signs have been called houses for thousands of years.
The Bible is not a religious book at all.
It is a book of Greek mythology which in symbolic terms describes the interaction of natural cosmic forces with natural earthly forces.
It has told us very clearly in the Bible that there will be a Passover to a new existence of the mind when we see the sign of the man with the pitcher of water, Aquarius.
The first thing that one must do to understand the Bible and its mythological symbols is to understand that the Bible from cover to cover is an ancient Greek document.
Jesus sent John and Peter to go and prepare the Passover. They were to enter into the city and meet and follow a man bearing a pitcher of water and he showed them the house they were to prepare the Passover for Jesus and the twelve disciples. (Luke 22:8-13).
The passover, is the passing over from the dead animal personality, to the renewed mind, or (Christ COSMIC consciousness). In the Age of Enlightenment (the age of Aquarius).

Re: All religion is based on ancient astrology and sun worship
Typical name calling and venom.
I stand by what I said. The Bible is the worst guide to Sun worship ever written.
Let's see. This video seems to imply that the Bible never alludes to the fact that the stars tell stories. Let's see if it does. I'm just checking that's all. Don't freak out or anything... geez ;)
Genesis 1:14 - And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.
Psalm 19 - “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun. Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it; and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof”.
Well, that seems to pretty much say straight out the stars tell the story.
Leviticus 18:3 - 'You shall not do what is done in the land of Egypt where you lived, nor are you to do what is done in the land of Canaan where I am bringing you; you shall not walk in their statutes.
See, why wasn't that verse brought up in the video. It says straight out, God put the stuff up there to tell the story, the whole world got the same message from the stars, then it says but don't worship that stuff up there, its just telling a story.
Again, I stand by my origional thought, the Bible is the worst guide to Sun worhsip ever written.
Daniel 3:14-16
and Nebuchadnezzar said to them, "Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up? Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?"
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter.
Apocalypse ("lifting of the veil" or "revelation") is a term applied to the disclosure to certain privileged persons of something hidden from the majority of humankind. Today the term is often used to refer to the end of the world, which may be a shortening of the phrase apokalupsis eschaton which literally means "revelation at the end of the æon, or age".
The Christian persecution of archaic religions based on sacramental ingestion of entheogenic plants and the consequent personal access to ecstatic states; whose first great victory was the destruction of the Eleusinian Mysteries at the end of the fourth century; which then reached a gruesome climax in the persecution of witches in the Middle Ages; and which continues in today's Pharmacratic State in the guise of a public health 'War on Drugs.'
