If we can only get quality healthcare in a profit-driven system, I think that this says a lot about our values in America. The story is very one-sided, so it proves nothing to anyone except those who happen agree with it. And ironically, this site it always complaining how the media is biased and can't be trusted. This is no different. I want to hear both sides of the debate, not just what the media (which is also a profit driven system) has to say. |

That made the insurance go up for doctors and hospitals then it went up for us. The money also changed in Nixons time, they made it total fiat, so prices changed. I remember that before then it was a lot cheaper to pay for insurance and the doctors visits. It also caused it to be much higher priced to run a business. They started to do just in time stock, instead of having it on hand, buying for businesses. Really, thou it seems some of this is unrelated, it does figure into the way things changed. |
