So my Ford/ Linclon saved my life yesterday on I 95. Got rear ended at about 40 to 50mph by a Nissan Altima. We were stuck in the merge lane of 295 and 95 outside of Richmond. She wasn't paying attention and rammed us. The frame of our Linclon remained in tact. We had our seat belts on, so my chest area is quite bruised. The Nissan was demolished up to the fire wall. Luckily the driver is ok. Also had her belt on. If we had been in a small car too I'm sure we would have been crushed. My kids now want my to by an H2.

Don't by an H2.

I'm looking at the Ford Flex:

Left the door open on a Chevy Suburban for about 2 hours in the heat of the day on summmer and the glue melted that they used to hold the door on. Now you have to lift up on the door to close it and it doesnt seal properly.

I worked in a very out of the way area. You would have to drive 30 miles in some of the harshest conditions known. With a 4000 ft elevation change 20 foot snow drifts were common. Chains and 4 wheel drive were manditory.

A co-worker had a 2005 V-10 F250. I had a little 2000 tacoma. I never had problems. He was constantly fixing his truck on the go just to get back home. Every week he had to take some tubing and fittings from work to repair his brake lines.

You're not very bright. I bet you're one who could break a crow bar in a sand box. I haven't had any problems.

Did have a 4 cyl Datsun 4x4 when i was younger. Blew the motor hauling a load of wood. Just not enough power.

He was more likely modifying it not fixing it. Some people work on vehicles.

My dad has a GMC 2500 diesel. haven't had any problems.

You're more likely disinfo trying to sell you pos imports that have caused the destruction of the job market. Happy?

I was out picking cherries and had the door open so i could hear the radio. The hinge is bolted to the door but glued to the body.

There is no "glue". The hinge is cauked to keep moisture out. Most cheaper asian imports are not sealed. It's an extra.

Big vehicles have big doors. They need to be shut. You open the door get out and shut it. Works great last long time.

Trans Ams have a particular problem with the doors. The new ones do not. I have a 2000 Ram Air TA. No door problems.

I also have a 1994 Dodge and didn't have any door problems until i gave it to my son and he wrecked it. He's wrecked it twice. Drove it home both times.

Alright shill, With such limited intellgence it will be hard for you to grasp this. If you do not understand my point you will never graduate from 'Union Thug' to paid 'Agent Provocateur'.

In the conditions described do you think we (co-workers)were not friends and just hoped to make it off the mountian without help?

Why would anyone decide to modify something in below zero weather after a 12+ hr workday?

The destruction of the job market was caused by the unions putting out pieces of crap and then crying because America was not stupid enough to buy an inferior product.
My toyota was made in No. Cal, the plant Toyota must close due to GM not upholding their end of the contract.
Maybe if you continue to work hard and save your pennies you can buy daddy's old vega from him.

Re: THE VIDEO PROOF ABOUT THE BUILD/DURABILITY OF FORD TRUCKS VS TOYOTA VS CHEVY ETC-A 10 MIN VIDEO-Quote

i bought a used 89 toyo 4x4 because after going over the consumer reports magazine on used cars and trucks they had the best ratings. I beat the hell out of that truck....radiator blew the first week i had it and i just put JB weld over the area after tack welding the seam back together. It would overheat periodically and ended up with a tick when the fan belt broke while i was on the highway. I just replaced the JB weld peridically as needed. Im in fla so towing stuff and carrying stuff wasnt a big deal cuz its flat but when i was in Tenn i could barely make it up some of the hills, i made it but i couldnt keep up with traffic and all i had was a fiberglass topper on it. The 4cyl engine is good just not very powerful. I had a head on collision with it and the other driver hit me in the driver side wheel and knocked me back and over into the slow lane. With my seatbelt on and goin 35 mph it only felt like a rollercoaster stopping. after i turned off the engine i called 911. if the collision didnt bend the frame i would have had the truck fixed but it was a one year frame and they couldnt find one. the only thing i ever did was replace the battery and starter and maybe the alternator....just regular maintenence stuff.

I also have a 81 tercel that i would switch to that i never had to replace anything. Would sit for 6 months and with a little starting fliud start right up and run great.

Now i have a 90 4 runner 6 cyl and it hasnt given me any problems

nothing against ford gm dodge and chevy cuz i was raised on fords and rebuilt them alot....good work trucks but they made em cheap in the 80s and thats what really turned me off from them

but i like toyota....sue me
